I just had a pint of this at the Braintree, MA location and liked it so much I got a half gallon to go. Really a very drinkable, tasty imperial stout. the nose of this black brew is both smokey and sweet and reminds me of a freshly brewed pot of dark roast. Tastes like caramel-infused espresso with smoke, malts and oats in the mix. I've never had such a smooth, easy going down imperial stout before. The brewmaster said that he has a few kegs of this stuff that he's aging in oak barrels fo a few months. I can't wait to get my hands on that stuff.

King of Prussia, PA location. I look forward to this beer each holiday season during the crunch and madness of last minute shopping at the King of Prussia Mall. Its body is an opaque ebony beneath a short head of creamy dark tan that drops shortly (possibly due to its high alcohol content) to a lacy surface covering. The aroma delivers rich caramel and an espresso-like roastiness. It's full and smooth in the mouth with a full body and very fine, moderate carbonation. Rich malts dominate the flavor with caramel, sugar coated nuts, a subtle touch of butter, coffee and a thread of yeasty fruitiness backed by solid bitterness. It finishes dry with a light note of alcohol and some residual bitterness. Most impressive! A beautifully done, rich and malty Imperial stout that barely reveals its strength. Well brewed!!!

A ew offerinf from the RB in KofP,pours a deep brown with not much head to it,the aroma ir rummy and very roasted and appetizing.A nice buttery taste and mouthfeel to this beer with a nice sweeter note that goes well with the buttery flavors,I found this beer very easy to drink for the style,a notch below the Old Rasputin 4-pack I just finished off but a nice beer none the less.
