I had this pint at Rock Bottom in Campbell, CA. The board in the bar had it listed at 4.8% ABV and brewed on 1/24/05.

Appearance: Golden glowing yellow color with a thin white head.

Smell: There is a light malty aroma to the beer but that's about it.

Taste: Sour malty flavor with a nice bready malt profile. There is a good white wine like sourness and sweetness and dryness. There are notes of white grape, pear, and citrus.

Moutfeel: Sticky and dry on the palate with a clean ending.

Drinkability: Great beer to open the night. I don't know the Kolsh style very well, but I like this beer a lot. Goes great with all types of food and is very refreshing.
