This was their rotating "wheat special". Served in a mug club mug, the beer is a very hazy yellow with a dense and clingy bone white head.
The aroma is citrus (lemon), grassy malts and some spices (coriander?).
The taste is light, slightly tart and has lemon notes all backed by spice. This would be a great warm weather beer. Some fruit flavors emerge late.
The mouth and drinkability are both decent. This is the best use of lemon grass I've seen in a beer. Well done!!

billed as a rotating seasonal wheat made with belgian yeast, white wheat, warrior and sterling hops, and "a touch of cut lemongrass" from the brewer's notes.
very nice looking, this was a hazy glowing apricot in the glass with a quickly diminishing white head. fruity aromas in the nose along with sweet doughy notes. moderate to full malt sweetness on the tongue complemented by tart and bitter flavors, this edges a bit more to the malt side of things but is quite well-balanced nonetheless. medium to full-bodied with relatively low levels of carbonation in the mouth. this was dangerously drinkable at this abv. i hope they keep doing more creative beers such as this.
