Served in an imperial pint. A velvety cascading head of dense, yet soft tan foam. Plenty of lacing. Solid black body.
Smell is of chai tea, dairy cream and some roasted malt.
Chai tea is definitely the highlight of the flavor. There are some solid roasted malt notes with chocolate and coffee as well. Not really getting any of the coconut, but supposedly it's to lend to the feel as they used coconut milk. Very tasty though.
Wonderful feel from the nitro of course. Just silky soft all around.
A well done brew. Hard to drink more than one or two of these, but it's pretty unique and the nitro just adds to the experience. Recommended.

A- Very dark, pretty much black with the standard nitro tap head, chocolate brown colored. Good lacing.
S- Aroma is heavy on the chai. There is actually quite little coconut on the nose. I would like more of that. A bit of roasted malt, but mostly chai.
T- Again, almost all chai. There is a faint coconut up front, but chai takes over. The finish has some of that roasted stout character.
M- Smooth, fairly light. It borders on creamy but doesn't quite get there.
O- An interesting beer but I would like it more if there was a bit more coconut and the chai was dialed back a touch.

Draft at Autumn Brew Review. Was really excited to try this one today! Poured a nice deep brown color with a fluffy tan head. On nitro. The Chai really domintes the entire nose on this one. I really didn't pick up any coconut notes in the nose. Medium mouthfeel with a nice creaminess provided by the nitro. Very root beer like feel. Malty chocolate taste with the chai mixed in. Overall, I really likes this one. A cool addition of chai that I haven't seen before.
