Overall one of the better Gordon Biersch beers. Didn't realize the strong alcohol until I saw it here on the website, which tells me how easy drinking it is.

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the Gordon Biersch in Seattle.

Appearance: dark brown with a fair haze and two fingers of creamy tan foam. An attractive beer indeed!

Smell: sweet with a little caramel. Light in intensity, but not bad.

Taste: super malty with a little bit of caramel, a little roast and a little toast. Lightly complex and not too cloying -- not bad!

Mouthfeel: medium-light body but with a good creaminess for the style. I dig it.

Overall: quite a drinkable example of the style.
