This brew poured a straw-like golden color. There was a modest head that dissipated very quickly. The bottle said that is was "crisp" but this was lost on me. A Budweiser is more crisp than this brew. It had a decent hop kick, and smelled like any other pilsner to me. It clearly had a "skunkish" flavor to it that reminded me of St. Pauli Girl. I really don't know what else to say aside from the fact that I don't envision myself trying this one again - but I am not a big pilsner fan.

I'll admit that I wasn't a Gordon Biersch fan for the longest, but I have come to really like the pilsner. Just right on the bite vs bitterness scale

Had on draft at Atlanta airport GB.
Appearance is clear straw color with minimal white head and minimal lacing.
Aroma of apple cider and something that I couldn't identify.
Tasted of buttery diacetyl and yeast.
Moderately carbonated for a medium mouthfeel.
Overall, I think I got a pour from a bad batch. Am sure that they don't brew this here at the airport and airport restaurants aren't known for their quality but this was just bad. Had a sample of this in a flight at a different location that wasn't nearly this bad....but it was a while ago.

A: Light Pils malt, with moderate flowery and slightly spicy noble hops.

A: Copper clear, totally clear with a small white head of microbubbles. There is adequate retention and light lacing in the glass.

T: Moderately low, though well attenuated maltiness with a slight sweetness. Light hop flavor with moderate hop bitterness. The beer is crisp with medium-dry finish.

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

O: Pretty solid; Gordon Biersch has always made a pretty straight forward solid German Pils. The malts and hops could be a little stronger, but the beer is crisp and the malts are well attenuated.

Golden color with solid clarity, thin white head 1/6". Aroma was neutral, maybe some bready aspect.

Taste even had that lager amount of diacetyl, nothing real bothersome, will fade with another week or tow. Carbonation very high. Its just one of those beers that pairs well with garlic fries, other than that, it doesn't do much for me. Almost a heavier malt bill than it should.

Nonic pint on tap at THG.

A: Pours a crystal clear light golden straw color with a finger of white fuzzy foam. A fuzzy collar lasted the whole glass through and left wispy lace left down the glass.
S: Nose has a "snappy" crisp quality that only comes from a super fresh and clean lager. Bready malt backbone with hints of spicy/earthy nobel hops
T: Super fresh and super crisp flavors of clean malt and lager yeast. Very crisp. Light honey sweetness, light crackery. Noble hop is lightly spicy in the finish with just a kiss of earthy bitterness. Flavors are incredibly crisp and clean. No flaws or subtle off flavors. Light spice and bready quality lingers in the aftertaste.
M: Light body, ultra crisp and clean, sparkling carbonation.
O: Best American pilsner I've had in a long time, if not ever. Super fresh (keg hand delivered by Dan yesterday), and flawless.

12oz brown bottle, sample from the brewery.

Dense rocky head after a proper pils pour, not as clear as I expected ... odd to seem some residual sediment here. Fresh herbal hop aroma; grassy, soft resin, and earthy. Even bitterness if not slightly aggressive to start, grainy but clean ... very clean. Good amount of herbal hop flavor even into the finish. Much better on tap at the brewpubs but the bottle will do just fine.
