Look: clear golden, with a thin white head
Aroma: grapefruit, pine resin
Flavor: It is caramel some grapefruit and a mild grassy and piney bitterness at the end. It does not have the flavor of an IPA but it is crisp easy drinking good for lunch.
Body/Overall: light to medium body, mild tasting

Smell of wheat
Clear golden amber tinged color
Medium mouthfeel
Medium carbonation
Bitterness, tastes of wheat
Overall not that great. Drinking this 5 months before best by date so it is fresh. Also tells you they put a long shelf life date on their beers. Would not buy again.

From the back label: "BEST CONSUMED BEFORE 07/24/18 08:50"
Appearance: The body is a bronze color with nice clarity. It is sparkling. The head is short and white with a creamy texture. It has very good head retention. It looks absolutely fantastic in a glass.
Aroma: It smells like buttered caramel with a light bit of flowery soap. I don't know who would find this combination of aromas appealing but it simply does not fit the Pale Ale style. The strongest aroma here is butter.
Taste: Up front there is a very faint bit of pine and that is quickly replaced by, again, buttered caramel. There is this sweet tasting caramel flavor with a smooth character about it that is nice but it feels very out of place. The aftertaste has a light bit of bitter herbs similar to old bay leaf that has bitterness but not much flavor.
Mouthfeel: The body is light and effervescent with a bit of crispness at the end. it has a soft bitterness that tapers off. Really the mouthfeel is very good. It finishes dry and bubbly and keeps the beer lively on the palate.
Overall: I don't know what is going on with this beer. It looks fantastic and feels fantastic on the palate. In the aroma and flavor department it is an absolute buttery caramel train wreck. The hops are just buried and non-present. This beer is all over the place. It's too easy to find a good Pale Ale these days. I wouldn't buy it again and I don't recommend it.
