The Queen Victoria Market location is small but they do have a good mix of Austin craft beers. The staff were helpful and very knowledgeable of the local beer scene. Gave good advice on beer destinations around Melbourne.

I've been to the South Melbourne branch of this 3 store chain and it's pretty damn good.
Beer is mainly aussie micro/craft focused but they also have some german stuff like weihenstephan and a pretty decent selection of Unibroue.
They pretty much always have some sort of beer glass deal which I cant seem to resist.
The staff know their stuff pretty damn well & even have beer books behind the counter.
There is cheaper places to buy some of the beers they sell but they arent too much more & they do have some stuff that I havent seen before and lots of new stuff pretty quickly.
They also have their own label wine with returnable bottles as well as henry of harcourts cider which is top notch. Oh, and some gourmet chocolate.

They have 3 locations, I believe, around the Melbourne area. One in S. Melb, one in Clifton Hill & one in CBD (downtown). I've only been to the 1st & 3rd locations.

Their focus is on Australian microbrews, which is a much-needed change from all the city bottle shops. Had a nice, lengthy discussion with staff about Australian microbrews & beer scene & they were very helpful.

Selection of Australian microbrews was as good as any shops I've been to, with exception of Purvis Cellars & Cloudwine Cellars. Had some seasonals, but not all I asked about.

Again, pricey based on what I'm used to paying for microbrews in the US, but seemed on-par with other shops in Melbourne. Definitely worth visiting if you're near or at the Queen Victoria Market (lots of other goods for sale, from produce to unique t-shirts & everything in-between) during their open hours: Tu & Th 7am-2:30pm, Fri 7am-6pm, Sat 6am-4pm, Sun 9am-4pm. Clifton Hill location has more regular hours Mon-Sun & S. Melb is open Wed & Fri-Sun.
