12 oz. Bottle

Pours a nice dark brown color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice one-finger thick/creamy off-white head, which leaves some sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, with some chocolate/toffee, nutty. The taste is malty, with some chocolate/toffee, kinda nutty. Medium body. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass.

Appearance: Darker brown with a thin beige head.

Smell: Malts

Mouthfeel/ Taste: Smooth medium bodied. Taste of sweeter malts with a faint bitter pine after taste.

Overall: Not a bad beer. Glad I tried it.

Sickeningly sweet smell with a flavor to match. Smooth but very little carbonation. Very sweet maple syrup taste with a tounge coating feel at the end of each sip.

Visited 7/21/13 after a long hike up Mt Evans. This beer was a perfect treat.

Brown colored brown ale, 1/4" off white head, aroma hit some sweet, sugary, I guess syrup notes.

Taste had more sweetness going for it, but it made a mundane brown ale a little less mundane, could have had more oomph to the maple aspect instead of predominantly a sugary impact. Smooth enough. One of their better beers that stays light bodied despite its brown appearance.
