Down the block from Palmers if you are at one might as well go to both in search of beer. As you walk in head to the back left and go into the beer and liqour only place. They have 2 coolers for sixers, 2 rows of craft beer, and and a section for 6 packs of single bottles. The selection is decent, most staple craft you can find in better Ohio stores. They did have Rockmill, they say only one of four stores in Columbus. The service is friendly, not super knowledable. Decent place, not a desination and not going to find hidden gems.

Really great spot just north of the city near OSU. Had a nice selection of local/regional beers plus beers from the Northeast and West Coast. Being from TN I came for the more local stuff I can't get at home and was happy with what I got -
Jackie O's & Wolf's Ridge. They also stocked Hoof Hearted, Columbus Brewing and other more Columbus micro's. I was surprised by the lack of Great Lakes but maybe I wasn't looking in the right spot; only saw 2 of their beers.
Really excited to see some solid Maine brewers - OxBow and Lone Pine (I've visited this brewery and Love Love Oh-J) & walked away with some really fresh Oh-J so was stoked.
Also grabbed an Evil Twin stout and Epic 4pack of Big Bad Baptist...both of which aren't in TN in addition to everything above.
Overall really happy and thought prices weren't too out of line either. Plus the folks working in the section were really knowledgeable about beer so a perk!

What I bought: Worthington White Shield, Brooklyn Winter Ale, Shipyard Export Ale, Evil Twin All Occasions IPA, Great Divide Orabelle, Thirsty Dog Hoppus Maximus, Stoudt’s Scarlet Lady ESB, Ballast Point Sculpin IPA, Portsmouth Red Bird Ale, St. Feuillien Grand Cru, Uinta Baba Black Lager, Lagunitas Sucks Holiday Ale, Sixpoint 3Beans, Worthington Red Shield, The Bruery Saison Rue, Green Flash Barleywine Style Ale, Fat Head’s Head Hunter IPA, Revolution Eugene Porter, Finch’s Fascist Pig, Finch’s Secret Stache Stout, and Sierra Nevada Estate Homegrown Wet Hop Ale.
What I liked: Insane variety of micros at competitive prices, well-organized shelves, many refrigerated beers, growler station, new arrivals section, staff were decently helpful when I asked for suggestions.
What I disliked: Some stock is well past its prime and a few of the beers that I bought were gushers, but overall this is a first class beer store.
Would I go back? Yes.

Interesting layout. The wine section is part of the market itself, beer and spirits are in a separate section off the main market. Good selection of beer for the amount of space available. Singles section was not overwhelming by any means, but there seemed to be a lot of variety within it. The ratings are for the beer / spirits section only. The staff seemed very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, and I found the atmosphere similar to that of a specialty b/w/s shop. The market itself is pretty cool with an upscale vibe and a decent wine selection, but quite pricey as others have noted. Well worth checking out if you aren't buying groceries.

Luckily, liquor prices are regulated by the state of Ohio, because this is the most expensive grocery store I have ever browsed in my life. All grocery items are literally 2.5 - 3X the normal prices. Absurd price gouging.
Beer, priced slightly on the high side, but I would say their selection and knowledgeable staff make it worth a stop. They do sell some singles, and always seem to atleast try to be hip with whatever the new limited release is that week.
Nice liquor selection. If you'd like a laugh while you're in the store, go ahead and check out their grocery prices.

Picked a store at random off the BA list. Glad I picked this one!
Great little grocery store with a massive selection of booze and beer. Tons and tons and tons of stuff. And a growler filling station too. I had already purchased a lot on this particular trip, so didn't need too much more. But being able to grab a growler of Bodhi was a real bonus. This is pretty much everything a beer store should be. Though as a ticker I wouldn't mind more singles. A very minor complaint in the overall scheme.

Very wide selection of national, local, and international beers . Holds craft beer tastings and fills growlers.

I was pleasantly surprised by the vast selection they had. Lot's of local brews to choose from. They also had a wide national and international selection.
Had a great conversation with one of the employees about local beer (since I'm from Indianapolis). He showed me all the local stuff and gave me some background on them. They were very helpful and let me pile up a ton of bottles at the register while I was browsing.
