22 oz bomber from Capital Market in Salem. $4.99. THis is a collaboration between Calapooia and Eric Nordby of the band "Norman". Beer pours a darker golden colour with a nice sized frothy white head. Aroma is pretty well balanced, with the floral/citric hops giving room for the caramel malts, has some lager like tendencies..nice. The hops come in stronger in the taste than the nose,grassy/grapefruity, malts more in a marzen style ?. Mouthfeel is quite thin almost watery, but adds to drinkability rather than hinders. Average Pale Ale( Marzen?), think this would do better in July or August though.

found a bomber of this at volcanic in hood river. it's not listed on the brewer's website at all, so had to try it.

lighter orange color.

smells a little malty, woodsy, earthy, a little sweet, maybe strawberries.

taste is earthy, a little spicy, a bit of woodsiness and a touch of sweetness in there, then comes bitter, then finishes clean. light mouthfeel, easy to drink.

the bottle claims this is a "true northwest ale with a full, citrusy hop aroma." absolutely not. this honestly tastes like an oktoberfest that wanted to be an english bitter. there's gotta be fuggle hops in here. it's strangely drinkable but not sure what is going on here.
