I walked over to Kimball's w/ my Lancaster County Brewers cronies after enjoying the tour at Bavarian Barbarian. The place was practically empty until after we started playing pool.

The atmosphere is College focused w/ wide open bar area w/ traffic lights and costumed skeletons hanging from the ceiling. There are two pool tables and plenty of bar style seating, a real basic bar feel overall.

The selection is good with micros from Pa and plenty of bombers and 750's including Ommegang, Allagash, Rogue and Weyerbacher. I would say the Quality pretty well follows suit. The prices are a little high, but for the area the selection dictates that I suppose. The have several draft options both Local, national craft and macro so there is a variety to choose from. The wings smelled great, but I didn't have any food.

Kimball's is a casual place to grab some craft beer and play a game of pool or watch sports on the flat screen. I would recommend this place more for the bottle selection than anything.

Right beside "Penn College" so lots of college kids. There are 23 beers always on tap so they have a great selection. The beers change regularly and you can always expect something new, and they have 4 fridges of bottles to choose from. They have great food. Everything i have every tried was delicious and relatively cheap. (especially good wings) They always have cheap deals going on and a huge tv on the wall and a pool table. It is a rather small bar but its clean and has a good atmosphere. All of the staff are nice and they have great service. Definitely worth a visit for some interesting beer choices!

Literally my next door neighbor while in college so you can imagine I was here frequently. I remember the days when this was just a tiny beer and wing shack across the parking lot , now they have a full facility with lots great bottles and taps always available. At least four coolers of single bottles to consume in house or to go, with a few tasty taps available. Some of their more exotic champagne bottles were slightly expensive but all in all for a bar next to a college that serves wings and hoagies you couldn't beat this place and it always was a nice close walk home. The only bummer is 90% of their clientele is college students looking for a close cheap watering hole, so if you want to go enjoy a few craft brews I suggest you go earlier than later in the day before the BMC'ers come.

Visited this place in March 2010 and didn't review it at the time, but now that I notice only 2 reviews, I thought I would add one to give people more feedback if they are thinking of stopping in.

Was in town for work and had this place recommended as a great bottle shop/bar to stop by, so I did.

This is a small little college bar - right across the street from a College Campus. There were pool tables. Certainly not an upscale craft beer bar but still clean and friendly.

If I recall there were about 5 or 6 taps, 1 or 2 were BMC and the others were craft beer. I was very happy to see that Nugget Nectar was one of the taps so I had a pint of that. Would have loved to been able to stick around for a pint of SN Anniversary Ale, which was also on tap but I was strapped for time since this place does not open until 4 pm on Saturdays (my only complaint).

They also had a great (relative to the options in Williamsport) bottle selection and I was happy to notice some bottles of Founders Nemesis 2009 and picked up a couple along with some Founders Porter and a couple of other bottles.

The service was great. The bartender was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I would definitely go back for a pint or two if I am ever in town again.

I use to go here all the time when i went to college up there...the selections of micros is wonderful and sixpacks are alright but the single bottles and 750ml bottles is a great selection from PA micro brews to Allagash for a bar to be in a college town its wonderful cause all college kids really want to drink is anything cheap and terrible but this is an outstanding place...and the food is grea the wings are not that expensive and you get alot of food for your money also the cheesesteaks are good
