Aroma's vinegar, perfume, something else. Flavor's mainly tart, some barely discernable blueberry and boring. Some perfume soap in the finish. Body is ok.

Poured from the bottle into a tulip glass.
Classic blueberry juice color, deep red/purple with a hint of a pink body. Head is a small two fingers which fizzles out a bit quick. Decent collar left and a nice middle ring on the top. Some faint carbonation sometimes on the sides of the glass.
Simple hint of fruit, and very little notes of esters or funk. Slightly grass, and a hint of faint tartness.
Palate is interesting. Light body and slightly chalky finish, with a half decent fruit angle. There is a very odd woody pencil lead like aftertaste on this, which in a way comes out kind of fun and interesting. Fruit angle has some fake icing quality to this as well, like the stuff that comes out of the can that you spread. What a weird sensation of flavors. Palate in the lambic realm comes off pretty neutral, neither overly sweet or tart, but definitely no funk, and doesn't remind me of blueberries (which I've been eating almost everyday since they are in season when I wrote this).
It's an interesting fruit lambic, but it's non tartness gives off the impression of a flat fruit beer. However, some of the flavors inside are quite fascinating if a bit odd. Certainly not for everyone. A tricky one to describe.

Bottle from Discount Liquors in Milwaukee. Served alongside Blåbic.
The beer is lavender hued with a small pink head. Aromas of blueberry, juice, fruit sugars, herbal notes. Funk character is minimal. Perhaps this would increase with age, but then, I suppose the blueberry character would diminish. Anyhow, this doesn't drink like a lambic to me. Fruity with a mild pucker in the finish. I much preferred the Blåbic to this. While this was decent, it's not even in the same hemisphere as Cantillon Blåbær.
