500 ml bottle bought at the Duty Free Shop in Oslo back in late November 2018.
A - Pours a hazy orange/golden body with a nice white head. Lots of lacing on the glass.
S - The aroma is not that impressive, but it does give out some IPA fruitiness and some floral and grassy notes.
T - Unlike the aroma the flavour is very intense and quite complex: tropical fruit, citrus caramel, with some floral notes; this beer goes a little further than just an American-style IPA and has a serious hop bite and quite some sweetness too, so it is almost like a Double IPA. The finish is bitter and a bit sweet.
M - Medium-to-full body, with a certain chewiness to it. The bitterness is still strong but not over the top.
O - I am really impressed how this beer still packs such a strong hoppiness, despite not being that fresh. This pretty much beats all other Norwegian IPA's I've had to date, including several kinds from Nogne O. Well done indeed!

L - pale golden with a solid head;
S - not bright enought, guessable notes of grass, citruses, subtle pineapple aroma;
T - taste is very good and complex but a little bit not enough-ish.
F - pleasant smooth bitterness in the aftertaste and somehow the subtle peach notes appears.
O - nice one, but not necessary to try. Still worth it, though.

Hazy, orange beer with a three finger high head.
Nose: Hops, orange, citrus, grass an pine.
Taste: Pine, resin, grass, hops and sweet malt.
Body: Medium body with a fresh taste & good bitterness.
Nice beer but it doesn’t live up to it’s name "Hop-canon" - I really expected a more hopped up beer!

Pours misty golden with a humongous fluffy white head, slowly receding to a thick compact cap and lots of frothy lacing.
The nose is aggressively hoppy, with a big emphasis on grassy, pine and floral notes, bitter citrus, and just hints of peach and pineapple. A big spicy feel too, with a bit of a Belgian yeasty edge (somehow), light caramel and a certain saltiness.
The taste is rough and hoppy, with lots of grassy notes and fresh pine from the start, with the fruitiness limited to citrus, some sweetish orange at first, then just tons of grapefruit. Some sweet caramel/honey maltiness wakes up a bit of pineapple, a bit of peach, but the long bitter finish follows quickly and cuts it all off, with lots of strong perfumey floral notes, grass, pine, spruce, just a lot and lot of hop/lupulin extract. There's a pinch of salt in there that does nothing else but enhance. Which is good.
Aftertaste is really bitter, but it's not as disturbing as other "simplisticly hopped" IPAs out there. It doesn't just feel like an aspirin got stuck in your throat. Still, not the usual stuff. Medium body, prickly carbonation.
Big bold bitter hop-forward beer, but the quantity/quality difference isn't big. Yes, thank you!

Thanks Jonathan for the share. 500ml bottle into a tulip. The brew is perfectly clear golden yellow underneath a mountain of white foam. Visually its excessively carbonated but that does not impart any charcter to the nose or taste. This beer is quite grassy and bitter without any unique or distinguishable hop characteristics. Its a pretty plain but well executed IPA. At times its slightly fruity/floral as the alcohol becomes evident. Light, crisp and enjoyable. Would I drink it again if offered? Absolutely. Would I seek it out? Unlikely.

Poured from a bottle to a shaker glass
A: Light golden, a little hazy, but it's unfiltered so it's expected.
S: Fruity. The hops really come through. Pineapple.
T: Bitterness hits you right away, but it's not harsh at all. Really fruity and hoppy. A blend of Pineapple, earthy, floral flavors.
M: Crisp but medium bodied.
O: This is a really tasty beer. Well brewed and the hops really play the lead role.

Bottle bought in Bologna, Italy in July 2014. Somewhere between golden and orange with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, grapefruit, pineapple and maybe some garlic (mosaic hops?). Taste follows closely the aroma with a lingering bitterness that coats the mouth. Worked well with a risotto made with two types of cave-aged pecorino. Another good one from HaandBryggeriet.
