I use to get very excited to spend way to much money on this food but today I went and spent $60 and the baby back ribs were so tough and fatty I couldn’t eat them. They tasted like they were boiled and then attempted to be smoked. The cook should be ashamed of himself ! Even the macaroni salad tasted off and different which I always buy in the large containers bc it use to be so good. Will not be going back

The Shed has about 10 taps, but a very good selection of bottled beers. You'll also be hard pressed to find better barbeque anywhere! They frequently have live blues bands play. ranging from talented unknowns to Jonny Lang and Percy Sledge. It was featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives". Leaving The Shed is one of this things I'll miss most about living in Ocean Springs. This is one of my favorite places to eat in the country!

The Shed is a must stop when in Ocean Springs.

Food: The BBQ was fantastic. The ribs were by far the best ribs I've ever had. The chicken, pulled pork and beef brisket were ok. My wife thought the sauce was too sweet. The food was drenched in the sauce by the way. There was no on the side option was far as I could tell.

Service: Walk up and order and food is brought to your table. Not much interaction with waiters or waitresses.

Beer: Not too shabby for Mississippi and a BBQ joint. Had most of your standards like Bud, Miller and Coors but also local stuff like Lazy Mag, Diamond Bear and even Bayou Teche. Had some macro imports like Tecate, Corona and Fosters.

Overall: An absolute must. Beer selection was okay but the food was great.

The Shed has now beceome somewhat famous from their appearances on primetime TV. As far as teh food goes its not bad. Not really my style of BBQ and a little too sweet on the sauce but tasty nonetheless. Real come-as-you go service with "servers" yelling your name as they search fro your table among the crowd. A good time when there's blues playing. The beer selection is OK. Not a great choice on draft and bottle selection is decent. Plan on spending some cash on the BBQ and a little more on the beer. Wish it was cheaper but the people come anyway so no need I guess. Still a fun place to hang with friends and have some good food!

i enjoy the shed for the bands and the food. the beer selection is decent, as they do have some micros and some lazy magnolia on draft.

these guys put on blues festivals outdoor and have quite a bit of room to accomodate such events without feeling over-crowded.

the decor is interesting with car tags and other stuff pinned all over the ceiling and walls.

an interesting note about this place, the owners, a brother and sister team are both in their 20's (young people doing big things) and have owned/operated this place since it's inception.

This is a great place to go in South Mississippi for a beer (something that is rare in this area). There is a good selection of micro beer as well as some imports. They carry the local Lazy Magnolia brand on draft. This is also a good place for live blues music on Sat nights and Sun afternoons. The food is very good - some of the best barbecue around. If you go, don’t expect to stay late, The Shed closes by 10 each night – it is located in a campground. (This place is a must stop for beer lovers who enjoy good barbecue!)
