Brewed by:
Great Divide Brewing Company
Colorado, United States

Style: Russian Imperial Stout

Alcohol by volume (ABV): 9.50%

Availability: Year-round

Notes / Commercial Description:
An onslaught of the senses. It starts with big, roasty malt flavor that gives way to rich caramel and toffee notes. YETI gets its bold hop character from an enormous quantity of American hops.

A 650 ml poured into a wide wine glass.
A: Light doesn't go through my glass, looks really dark, thick and creamy. The head is dark brown and stays long. Really nice lacing on the glass.
S: Lots and lots of grain, the malt smell wonderful. Alcohol blends nicely into the overal smell.
T: The balance of the malt richness and the presence of alcohol is amazing. Some cofee and cacao beans.
M: This is a full body beer, pass it beteen the teeth and you feel the greatness of this brew.
D: Very powerful, very drinkable. Have to be a liitlle careful, this baby can knock you out.

This is my first Great Divide beer, and I can tell by the taste and complexity of the mighty Yeti that this brewery has awesome things for my palate.
