Bloody Hell !! I absolutely do not care for hops at all. I don't care for the smell, the taste, or the after taste they impart on one's palate. Hoppy brews just aren't for me. I have been told by many friends, however, that I should try more of them and perhaps I'd learn to like them if only I could find one I really enjoy. This one is IT. This is a truly amazing beer. Just delicious!!! The appearance didn't really have any special appeal to me due to the fact that I am a porter/stout drinker, but it did look quite nice with its fluffly pillow-like head of foam. Orange / rust in colour. The smell is sweet and hoppy with a crippling amount of grapefruit present. The taste? I hope you really like grapefruit if you plan on tasting this. Staggering levels of grapefruit present in the taste with a pleasantly bitter hop bite. The mouthfeel is possibly the smoothest, easiest to drink beer I have ever had. This is just incredible. If you are a fan of tremendously hoppy brews, or even if you aren't I highly recommend you try this brew. Simply Smashing!!!

22 oz. bomber, no freshness date

Pours a fairly vibrant amber color with almost two fingers of light tan head that sticks around a rather long time. Aroma is pretty good. Pine and citrus hops are initially dominant but then malts come a bit more the to forefront. There is a rather large malt presence for a DIPA with a fair amount of caramel and a bit of sweetness. There is also a touch of alcohol in the aroma. Taste is very reminiscent of the aroma with a good american hop presence. The malt flavor seems a bit more restrained than the aroma. The malt character that is there is caramel but very much in the background. Mouthfeel is pretty good with a medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Drinkability is pretty good as well. The alcohol presence is restrained given the 9.1% ABV. Overall I found this rather enjoyable but it seemed to have a touch too much body and a bit too much caramel malt character.

Pours copper. Nice head, very good retention and lace. Aroma is awsome. Citrus hops, mixed with spice, and a hint of pine.Body is medium to thick. Taste is sweet up front, with a nice piney hop burst, and a bitter finish.I would have liked a less bitter finish, but still excellent!

Poured directly into the center of my 25 oz. snifter and was greeted by a massive 3 finger head that left a nice web of lacing down the glass.

Smell is extremely potent floral hops with a citrus background. Mesmerizing.

Taste is huge floral hops with some malty sweetness that peeks its head through for a moment before being smothered by a wave of piney hop bitterness. This is a monster DIPA, a hop bomb by any definition. The only problem is the alcohol is not very well hidden here, and it lingers on the palate for quite a while after swallowing. Without that booziness this would easily be a 4.5 or 5.

On the full side of medium bodied, good for the style.

I was very excited upon first sip of this beer but in the end the booze was just a little too pronounced, keeping this from being a top tier DIPA. But I would still call it "very very good"
