The bold hop profile adds complexity to this crisp, balanced ale, while hints of citrus, light floral notes, and a satisfying bitterness leave a perfect reminder of trails climbed and rapids subdued. This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow/bronzed orange color with a thin finger’s worth of white messy lacing with a spider web kind of foamy/bubbly messiness. The smell had some sweet to bitter citrus rind-like hops, light piney, subtle floral. Low spritzy wheatiness. The flavor takes the previously mentioned flavors to bounce and slide together in a decent hoppy bite of a finish. Dry aftertaste. On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs at a nice pace along my tongue, good. Enough hoppy bitterness hits my tongue. Overall, good APWA, maybe not a standout, but could come back to if offered.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass at the Distillery in Savannah. The appearance is a semi-clear bright gold color with a medium sized off-white head. The aroma is grass and some citrus hops. The taste is mild citrus with some bready malt. A nice beer.

Draught: this one pours a hazy golden color. It had a frothy white head that left some lacing. Good nose. Wheat, some citrus and earthy notes. the taste is OK. A bit bitter. Faint wheat, citrus and earthy flavors.

A hoppy wheat sounds like a nice summer beer that would be refreshing and quaffable enough for a summer slammer, and interesting enough to keep coming back for more. At 6% ABV could creep up on you in a longer session.
A: pours fairly thin with a whispy white head, doesn't linger long. slightly hazy. Goldish yellow
S:cracked wheat, hay, citrus on the nose
T: citrusy up front, with some grainy, husky flavors. low sweetness, slight bitterness. overall balanced and pleasant. Nothing wrong here, but nothing mindblowing either.
F: light, slightly slick, low/medium carbonation
O: I enoyed this brew and it accomplishes everything it seeks out to do. It is a nice citrusy wheat beer with good flavor, and packs a bit of a punch. would be great for camping or hanging out on a porch. Would pair great with chicken or white fish varieties.
