Poured from a 12 oz. can. And yes, that can came courtesy of the incredible woodychandler. Has a burnt orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of citrus, pine. Taste is piney, malts, light citrus, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer, but I was expecting it to pack a little more punch.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. The appearance is a bright orange color with a large white head. The aroma is full of hops and not much else. The taste is mostly hops with some malt in the background.

Bought a can at the Beer Shop in East Longmeadow, MA. The beer pours with a somewhat amber-like color with a white foamy head that leaves some layers of lacing on the sides. Aromas have light, grassy hops with some citrus, mostly a grapefuit like flavor. The taste is really nice; medium piney hoppyness makes the beer approachable without sacrificing complexity. Good mouthfeel too by being generally well-carbonated. Overall, I enjoyed this pale ale's taste, appearance, and mouthfeel the most.

Clear, dark golden color with off-white head. Aroma is slightly dank and vegetal with nice grassy hops. Taste starts grassy with fresh hop flavor but there is also a nice nutty malt backbone. Finish is quite balanced with just a light to medium bitterness. Light body but quite smooth on the palate and well carbonated. Overall it's a really nice, easy drinking fresh hop ale.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium coppery amber with a half finger white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt, citrus hops, tropical fruit, orange and lemon citrus. Flavor is mild caramel and biscuit malt, citrus and piney hops, lemon citrus, a lightly tart grainy component that tastes like rye. Finishes with biscuit malt, lightly resinous piney and citrus hops. Medium bodied with light creaminess, good mouth feel. A malty, well hopped and flavorful pale ale, bordering on IPA territory due to the malt and robust hops. Nice herbal hop flavors, although the fruit in the aroma does not show up in the taste, there are still fine pine and citrus flavor. Malty for a pale ale, but that's how I like my hoppy beers anyway. The biscuit makes this lean towards a robust British bitter, but the hops are definitely domestic. Nice.

Poured from 12 oz can dated 10/12/2016.

A: Clear golden yellow with 1 finger frothy white head. Lasting retention and fairly heavy lacing.

S: Fresh pine cones and bready malts. Faint citrus notes that go almost unnoticed.

T: Toasted bread and grapefruit mixed with fresh cut pine and grass. A little lingering sweetness.

M: Medium body with average carbonation. Crisp and refreshing with a lightly bitter finish.

O: Nice wet hop pale ale, but not in the same league as some of its counterparts especially with a $21 a six pack price.

Poured from a 12oz can with a canned on date of 10/12/16; into a pint glass.
Appearance- dark gold/orange with some sediment floating around if you look hard enough; some large carbonation bubbles that help maintain a medium thick, sudsy white head. Lacing clings to most of the glass!
Smell - strong bready malt nose with some syrupy hops oils.
Taste - very balanced malt to hop flavor profile; more floral and pine hops to go with malts that present like rye bread.
Feel - medium body and more of a traditional APA with hops supported by a muscular malt structure!
Overall - somewhat of a let down. For $12.99 a six pack, and the average score on this site, I was hoping for a bit more. I'll most definitely enjoy this sixer, but doubt I'll seek this out again.
