Poured from 12oz can into Seidel Mug. Best by December 31st 2017.

L: Chill hazed gold, finger and a half of off-white head has very good retention.

S: Bready, herbal, some pine. Something smells off though.

T: Bready, herbal and pine again, tastes alright, nothing crazy.

F: Light-Medium, crisp, drying grain.

O: Meh.

This was poured into a becher pint glass. The appearance was a hazy to transparent orange color. Sly carbonation rises. One finger white foamy head. Messy foamy lacing. The aroma had a super nice sweet to bitter piney hoppiness bursting over a nice malt backbone, not overbearing. The flavor leads with the piney hops, bitter and sweet. Dry piney aftertaste leading into the finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a great sessionability about it. Good carbonation and doesn’t distract from bitterness. Malt level seems appropriate to provide enough body. Overall, really nice APA surprisingly enough even with the date, I could drink this again.

L - Bronze with clarity, with 1 finger of head and some lacing left all over the glass

S - Dank fresh hops, citrus and bitterness

T - Well balanced and dank, more bitter than citrusy

F - well carbonated and medium body

O - A tasty fresh hop brew. I really enjoyed this one

12 oz can with a canning date of Oct. 2016.

Look - Copper colored body with a creamy off-white head that leaves a thorough coat of film on the glass.

Smell - Hoppy citrus notes dominate. Moderate complexity.

Taste - Hoppy citrus notes dominate but with more pine and more grains. Moderate complexity and medium-mild bitterness.

Feel - medium body with medium+, soft carbonation.

Overall - a great Pale Ale that resembles a mild DIPA more than expected.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. And yes, that can came courtesy of the incredible woodychandler. Has a burnt orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of citrus, pine. Taste is piney, malts, light citrus, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer, but I was expecting it to pack a little more punch.

Poured from a can into a pint glass. The appearance is a bright orange color with a large white head. The aroma is full of hops and not much else. The taste is mostly hops with some malt in the background.

Bought a can at the Beer Shop in East Longmeadow, MA. The beer pours with a somewhat amber-like color with a white foamy head that leaves some layers of lacing on the sides. Aromas have light, grassy hops with some citrus, mostly a grapefuit like flavor. The taste is really nice; medium piney hoppyness makes the beer approachable without sacrificing complexity. Good mouthfeel too by being generally well-carbonated. Overall, I enjoyed this pale ale's taste, appearance, and mouthfeel the most.
