Poured from a bottle with a "bottled on" date of 2/24/14; into a tumbler.
Appearance - yellow, cloudy, bubbly, a bit purée. Minimal head that recedes quickly. Lacing is very minimal.
Smell - banana, mango, apricot, papaya and some honey bagel!
Taste - orange and lemon zest, banana and touch of spice.
Feel - mild body, nicely carbonated, a touch dry and very flavorful!
Overall - a brew with outstanding character and at a fairly good price...and in a can!

Tasted July 26th 2011 (from notes)

A - golden yellow, four finger pure white head and a bit of lacing

S - nice yeast, tons of citrus, fruit, flowers, huge on the wheat, a bit of earth and a bit of sugar. Sour nite at the end

T - nice sweet then sour yeast, nice wheat, tons of citrus, nice fruit, a bit of flowers and very Belgian

M - Light, nice complexity, well balanced, very dry, medium acidity and medium + finish

D - drinks like a hefe, tastes like a great Belgian. Love this beer. This one is for the ladies and dudes a like

Final thought - 7%+ and only $2 a bottle, just try it

It's finally spring, so it was time to get the first saison of the year. This is a bit strong, but also very good; at 7.3% abv, it's not something I'll adopt as my summer beer of choice, but was a good call to have with dinner. Very happy with the beer, but it's certainly, as Great Divide says, their interpretation of the style rather than an authentic one.
