Pours hazy yellow color with a foamy 2 finger snow white head that had a lot of tiny bubbles in it as it slowly dissipated, leaving very good foamy lacing that left spots and foamy waves all over the glass.

Smells of yeast, light funk, clove, hay, wheat, dry grass, lemon zest, pear, sour green apple, grains and some mild spices. More earthy smelling than funky, with a touch of sweetness that was soft and like a clean barn area with no mud or stagnant water.

Taste is sweeter than the nose, with more noticeable citrus fruit like orange peel and grapefruit to go along with the lemon, pear and green apple. The grains and/or malt are bigger too, adding to the sweetness and then leading to a mix of spices like pepper, coriander and clove, which then allow the earthy notes and funk to wrap it all up with hay, wheat, grass, yeast and some wet animal hair for that farmhouse touch. The aftertaste has a mix of dry citrus hops and tea leaf, really limiting the funk but making the sweetness and spices blend well with all sorts of flavor complexities.

Mouthfeel is light and creamy feeling, with light zesty carbonation, a medium body and a slightly tart bitterness that washes down and leaves a grainy/earthy sweetness. It’s not the boldest or the funkiest, but it’s very good, a nice version of this style and one I would definitely have again.

Fruity, medium to thick body, earthy to funky, banana, pears and apricot flavor. One of my favorite Saison, hint of pepper, but amazing Saison. Top 5 for your palette in this catagory for sure.

Pours a hazy golden with a medium off-white head. Smells of lemon and some sour grain. Taste begins with a tart citrus, then a mild grain, and finishing with an herbal, phenolic flavor. Mouthfeel is pretty good. Overall a pretty good Saison, a bit funkier than I prefer though.

Very earthy, just what you would expect from a farmhouse ale.
