12oz bottle into my Mad Fox glass. It poured a pale golden color with a thick, pillowy, white head to it. The head retention was very good as I drank it and it left behind some great lacing as well.
The aroma has a pretty big, citrusy, orange peel flavor to it with some coriander definitely there as well. A little bit of a Belgian yeast spice comes through as well.
The taste shows a lot of bitter, citrus rind flavors to it throughout the beer. Some coriander comes through along with some other herbal like flavors. The Belgian yeast adds a little spice but seems overshadowed by the bright citrus flavors.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied for the style and carbonation is moderate. Overall it was a decent beer but it seemed a little overpowering on the orange peel and coriander for me. The bitter rind like quality especially seemed a little overdone.

Golden pour, some yeast haze to it, 1/3" white head. Aroma imparted alcohol and phenolic yeast.
Taste hit the belgian notes first, yeast yeast yeast boy. A little bit of golden promise type of toasted pale malt behind it. Hops weren't there enough to call it an ipa by any standard really. Phenols really carry the day flavor and mouthfeel wise here, everything else is behind the scenes and nothing really stands out.

Rated as average because of age. Vintage is 2009.
Big Belgian aroma is still there. Green apple, pear, and caramel malt dominate. There's a touch of cardboard and I get a whiff of plasticy phenols initially, but the fruity esters really dominate.
Flavor is somewhat lacking, in comparison. The caramel malt dominates here, with green apple and pear accenting, but fading to a touch of cardboard in the finish.
Wish I'd tried it fresh.

Big disapointment!! Stone cali-belgo is lightyears ahead of this! Average in every aspect and I think great divide is an excellent brewery but they missed on this one. !... i guess thats why they no longer make this one. Just trying to get to 250 characters at this point.
