Appearance: Hazy, dark gold color, one finger of thick white head, very good retention and nice lacing.
Smell: Pretty light aroma, hints of lemon, bits of wheaty smells, and belgian yeast.
Taste: Citrus, banana, coriander, and that great belgian flavor we all love up front, with some peppery spiciness on the back end. Very nice!
Mouthfeel: Medium to light body, nice carbonation, and nice and creamy. Dry finish.
Overall: While not up there with the best Belgian Tripels, I thought this was a very drinkable beer. I look forward to its release every year and always buy a couple of sixers.

Poured from a 12 Oz can into a tulip glass.

Pours a very hazy golden straw color. About a finger of thick foamy head that is creamy in color. Head quickly dissipates into a thickish ring around the glass.

Nose is very yeasty. Banana, coriander, lemons, and a slight hint of crackers.

A nice thick banana and clove flavor immediately hits the tongue. Coriander follows. Very slight hints of citrus and a wafer/cracker taste follows at the very end.

Feels a little on the thick side. Very close to a stout in body, but still smooth at the same time. Very good carbonation.
