The beer that started it all for me back in the '90's.

16 oz can poured amber color with an off white head into a pint glass. Some lacing down the glass. Slight hop aftertaste. Nice malty mouth feel. Meatier beer than most. One of my favorites since 1985.

Another one of my early favorites, circa 1995.
LOOK: Deep amber-brown color. medium off white head with good retention.
AROMA: pleasant, but faint, medium roasted malt, corn, vegetable.
TASTE: Caramel sweet and slightly smokey malt. Touch of wood.
FEEL: easy drinking, medium body
Very tasty and a great simple beer to veer a borderline craft dinker away from AAL swill.
