On-tap, served in a stange

The body sits a deep mahogany infused brown with a ridiculously creamy light khaki head. I have never seen a cap so thick and creamy, it looked like frosting on a cupcake.

The aroma is a little muted, but there is a heavy dose of chardonnay. Some chocolate notes mix with toffee and booze to round everything out. Not as deep and complex as I was looking for either.

I let this guy warm up considerably after the first sip it began to open up, lending some really subtle nuances. Chardonnay notes are strong. Toffee, chocolate, booze, lightly roasted coffee, and a dry, oaky finish. Surprisingly dry, almost delicate as it lifts off the palate.

Medium feel, a little on the thinner side, with a smooth finish.

Not a ton of flavor explosion, but rather subtle nuances that pop here and there.
