Pale color in the pint glass. Looks exactly like a hazy Chardonnay. Very tart, but without the acidic bite of many Berlinerweisse. While this is a very thin and sharp brew, it indulges you with just enough fruit and even a malty touch for balance.

No hops to be tasted, so it's all sharp flavors and appley tartness. This is a slight aroma of cider that is pleasant. Nicely quaffable, and certainly as drinkable a Berliner as I've ever tasted. On tap at the brewpub [notes from 2012 Philly Beer Week visit].

I had this on tap at John J Jeffries in Lancster served chilled in a tulip

the color is appropriately hazy golden with a white cream top with avg bead and visible carabonation. The smell is very wheat influenced with mild sweet aroma with light toasted grain and slight funk. The feel is good with malt presence full and low acidity and moderate carbonation with semi-dry finish.

The flavor of this ale is good with plenty of malt flavor from the wheat and nice funky lactic taste from the yeast with a slight tart edge, but not really sour, just a nice blend of toasted graininess with funk and mild lactic elements pretty simple but tasty and very drinkable, I would have this in multiples as the wild element of the yeast still allows the grain flavor to shine.
