Stopped in this past Saturday afternoon for a couple of cold ones. "S" shaped bar aloong the right/back from the right corner entrance, flanked by maybe 15 tbales, some along the windows, which were open and begged for much interesting people watching in The Village.
About 20? beers on tap, with many dozens in bottles, all craft, no BMC, which is nice. The selection included many IPA's and Stouts, a little different for a warm Saturday afternoon for me. I had a Bruery Saison followed by an Unearthly, both served in proper glassware.
We split an order of the Chicken Quesadillas, which tasted OK, but were sort of greasy.
While the 2 bartenders seemed nice, serviecf at this place, well at that time was not good at all. There was zero floor service for tables, meaning that we had to pick a spot to invade the bar and yell over others for drinks or food. I hate that. It took 5-10 minutes to do this when we arrived; very, very close to my patience threshold and us walking out. Not sure if this happens at other times, as this was my first visit.
I would say, based on the service problems we had, and the sort of IPA/Stout skewed tap list, I may not return on subsequent visits to NYC (I live in MA, so am a tourist there). Other places I've been have better service, better beer and better food, but probably not better people watching if you can get a window. Still, I enjoyed my two beers and was thankful we were not in a BMC bar...

What a great bar with an awesome selection of brews! Busy all hell when we were there but the bartenders were fast and saw us thirsty! Food and vibes in this place were great.

I really liked this place. I was in NYC on Holiday and searched it out while walking around Greenwich village. The beer selection was strong and plentiful. I did not have food but what I saw also looked good. The place is a bit small and crowed. It took some time to get a beer. Only two bartenders working and unless you have a seat at the bar it is a bit hard to get their attention. No late afternoon table service. Great pub feel and cozy. Quite enough for a good conversation. Also it had a great fire place that really felt great on a cold day. Being from the Mid west I loved the exploring the beer selection.

Awesome place in NY. We have an apartment in Queen so everytime I am in the city this is a stop. Last time I was here they had a few Other Half and Hill Farmstead on draft. I indulged as much as possible. Staff is great and knowledgable. An OG in the game.

I visited this place during a trip to New York. I was looking for a place with a good lineup of local beers that I can't get in California. I was not disappointed. The place was crowded but I still ended up with a seat at the bar. The crowd and the bartenders were friendly, which was nice since I was going solo. Its a good place for beer and conversation.

I didn't try the food, so no comment there.

This is definitively a place I will revisit the next time I find myself in NYC.

Man this place always has a great selection to choose from, but the space is freakin tiny and if you don't get in early it gets elbow to elbow, and good luck getting a beer with three lines of people ahead of you. Show up before the crowds or on the weekends.

What a great find! Nice selection of beer, local and otherwise. The vibe is super chill, low key. I've been twice, once in the early afternoon when it was quiet yet still happening and another time just before dinner time when the place was quite full. The service was great and the people there really try to tap into your likes and dislikes. The selection was quite varied and they definitely had something for everyone. I highly recommend, plus it is right next to Murray Cheese and the pizza place at the corner was really really good!

Has a pretty decent selection - almost 30 selections on tap. Wasn't entirely impressed with the selection though. Was a little bit crowded even at 5:30. The tacos pork tacos were absolutely amazing - best tacos I've ever had. Worth checking out but a tad bit pricey.
