Made a special trip down to this part of town to check out this place. Was glad I came in around 4pm on a Thursday, as my wife and I were able to get seats at the bar, and a little after 5 it started to fill in rather tightly. Really liked the vibe here, a couple of regulars were very nice, and talkative. Warm and welcoming place. Had a impressive tap list, not one of those places with walls of taps, but everything they had was top notch. I was happy to run into Flying Dog's Schwarz there, as well as a local gravity cask IPA. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the rarity/types of beers they had I think regulars might get a bit better service, but that is to be expected, and as it packed in, it seemed maybe even a little understaffed to handle the demand. I did not try the food, but one of the regulars raved about it. Nice place, and a welcome change to some of the more buttoned up bars uptown.

What a great bar with an awesome selection of brews! Busy all hell when we were there but the bartenders were fast and saw us thirsty! Food and vibes in this place were great.

I really liked this place. I was in NYC on Holiday and searched it out while walking around Greenwich village. The beer selection was strong and plentiful. I did not have food but what I saw also looked good. The place is a bit small and crowed. It took some time to get a beer. Only two bartenders working and unless you have a seat at the bar it is a bit hard to get their attention. No late afternoon table service. Great pub feel and cozy. Quite enough for a good conversation. Also it had a great fire place that really felt great on a cold day. Being from the Mid west I loved the exploring the beer selection.

Awesome place in NY. We have an apartment in Queen so everytime I am in the city this is a stop. Last time I was here they had a few Other Half and Hill Farmstead on draft. I indulged as much as possible. Staff is great and knowledgable. An OG in the game.

I visited this place during a trip to New York. I was looking for a place with a good lineup of local beers that I can't get in California. I was not disappointed. The place was crowded but I still ended up with a seat at the bar. The crowd and the bartenders were friendly, which was nice since I was going solo. Its a good place for beer and conversation.

I didn't try the food, so no comment there.

This is definitively a place I will revisit the next time I find myself in NYC.

Man this place always has a great selection to choose from, but the space is freakin tiny and if you don't get in early it gets elbow to elbow, and good luck getting a beer with three lines of people ahead of you. Show up before the crowds or on the weekends.

What a great find! Nice selection of beer, local and otherwise. The vibe is super chill, low key. I've been twice, once in the early afternoon when it was quiet yet still happening and another time just before dinner time when the place was quite full. The service was great and the people there really try to tap into your likes and dislikes. The selection was quite varied and they definitely had something for everyone. I highly recommend, plus it is right next to Murray Cheese and the pizza place at the corner was really really good!
