I wanted to love this beer because the bottle is beautiful, unfortunately it doesn't offer more than most of the generic ones. I wouldn't not drink it again but I wouldn't make an effort to purchase it. I kept the bottles and they look lovely displayed in a window - not a total loss.

Read the other reviews, the only reason to buy this beer is for the cool bottle. Much like Budweiser, with a little more carbonation. Kool-Aid beer. Maybe on a hot day if nothing else is available.

This tasted like a Heineken to me. But a little smoother.

11.16 FL. OZ bottle
Served in a pilsner glass

This beer pours a brilliant yellow color. It is topped with two inches of creamy, white head that leaves decent lacing.

As soon as I cracked it open I could smell the south end of a northbound skunk. Once decanted it wasn't as bad. It has a sweet aroma reminiscent of sweet corn.

The taste is light and sweet. The sweetness is almost candy-like. The finish has just enough hops to cut the initial sweetness, so that it is not overbearing.

Light mouthfeel

I bought a single because I thought it would look good in my fish aquarium. My fish like swimming into beer bottles. I wasn't expecting it to be good. The smell was as expected, but the taste was alright. It went down easy enough. I doubt I buy any more unless it would be to add another bottle to my aquarium.

Pours a slightly hazy light yellow with a white head. Aroma is white bread, corn, grass and a bit of skunk. Taste is rather sweet. Corn and bread with a bit of grass and a hint of lemon.
Mouth is light and well-carbed.
It's inoffensive.

Pours a very clear yellow color with a finger width foamy head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Grainy aroma with a hint of some sweeter malts. Taste of cereal grains with a slight spicy hop at the end. A little sweetness. Lighter bodied with heavy carbonation. Definitely better than an adjunct lager but not by much.

Sparkling pale straw yellow with a large white foam head.

Smell is sweet corn, buttered rolls, and grass.

Taste is sweet buttered corn, bread, and very sweet white grape.

This is very light and watery, with a pinch of a bitter finish. It's a little crisp but still wet.

This is your basic BMC corn lager, with a Chinese (or Australian?) paint job.

Ok, so I bought it for the bottle. It is super cool. The beer is just okay. A golden yellow beer with a faint wheat smell and a pleasant smooth taste. If the choice is between this and any of the American mass market beers, choose this...you will be happier.

Really cool bottle nice color with a good head but like most beers that come in a green bottle it has a skunky smell but surprisingly not a super strong skunky taste. I understand why beers get skunky would really like to try this in a fresher state but not going to China to do it.
