22 Oz bottle. No bottling info
Pours a not quite clear gold/orange body with an off white head. Minimal retention and lacing
Smell is mostly hop forward and somewhat astringent. Mostly pine, but there is a definite malt presence here too.
Taste follows with the astringent quality up front. I normally appreciate a bitter finish bit the bitterness lingers in the aftertaste a little too much.
Thin to medium feel
Overall; Meh...

Got this on close out at my local wine store. Knew nothing about it. Frankly wasn’t expecting much. Upon opening the bottle, I could smell very little to discern it from other brews. But on the first taste, I was pleasantly surprised by the full bodied feel. The dark amber hue of it’s appearance reminded me of the amber ales that I so enjoy. Having never tried this ale, I expected a hops explosion (which I don’t particularly like). However, Industrial IPA’s hops were well tempered. To me, it was like a well-bodied lager with a light hops undertone. Oddly enough, it finished in a bitter way that made me want to keep on drinking.
Overall, it was a lucky find. I will be back at the store tomorrow to hopefully clear them out of their close out inventory.

L) Pours a thick, dark, amber with a creamy off-white head. Good retention and lacing.
S) Nose is heavy on resinous hop notes, with a bit of yeast funk and sweet malt.
T) Very hop forward, strong on the sap and resin. Has a strong malt backbone to back up the sappy bitterness.
F) Well carbonated, and has a creamy mouthfeel.
O) Not bad for the price at all. Would recommend to dank sap lovers.

Poured from a brown 22 oz. bottle. Has a bronze color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of malts, some hints of citrus. Taste is malts, some caramel, light citrus, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall, isn't a bad beer, but lacks the punch and flavor I expect from this style.

[Bottle from Harvest Foods in Moses Lake. Deep amber with silky beige head. Malt dominates the aroma, nice caramelly scent. Malt also provides most of the flavor, with some hops at the end drying the whole thing out. Close to an English IPA.

Orange pour with a thin off white head in the range of 1/3". Aroma has the usual c hop grapefruit thing going for it.
Thankfully isn't a simple bitter bomb c hop double ipa, the bitterness is restrained for style. The abv is a smidge under 8% so its not a gigantic double. Enjoyable, hardly unique but serviceable. Wouldn't repeat the purchase though, its a bomber and only a 'good' one at best.
