Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a hazy, medium orange amber with a fine two finger white head that was constantly refreshed with carbonation. Looks nice. Very aromatic, with herbal and piney hops, fresh light fruit and a hint of cat. Flavor is more subdued, but still quite complex, with pine hops, grapefruit, some tropical fruit and sweet malt. Finishes somewhat dry with a long lasting piney citrus hop and grapefruit aftertaste. Light to medium body remarkably with a hint of creaminess for a 5.5 ABV ale. I'm seriously impressed. I'd like to see a higher ABV amber version of this.

Poured from a brown 11.2 oz. bottle. Despite no agitation, started to foam out of the bottle, and has a rich golden color with a 2 inch head. Smell is malts, light hops. Taste is well balanced malts and hops, some hints of citrus. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall a decent beer, but lacking any oomph.

330 ml bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Very highly carbonated upon opening, but not infected. I let it dissipate before drinking. Pours moderate hazy/cloudy orange/amber color with a 2-3 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with outstanding retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big lemon, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, peach, light pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, peach, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, peach, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a god bit. Damn nice complexity, balance, and robustness of citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very nice pale ale style. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Pours a medium amber. Lacey large white head. Grapefruit, pine and hops aroma.. Exact opposite taste. Hops, pine and mild grapefruit and citrus. Nice bitter finish. Try it if you can find it!
