Hazy deep red colour with a big, light tan head. Fair head retention. Good lacing.
Quite sweet. Big hoppy nose too. Solid.
Sweet, heavily caramelised malt followed up with a shockingly smooth bitterness. Nice.
Medium body with moderately-high carbonation.
A great beer. Big hop flavour with enough malt to balance. Excellent.

Pint at the Malthouse for the release party 9/3/14 from notes
A clear copper, not much for bubbles, head, or lace but its a top filled pint, thin film leaves a single ring around the top of the glass
S peaches are strong, sweet orange, tangerine, a little spruce and caramel, smells simple but massive, I had my nose buried in this one for a while, fresh and sexy
T it tastes great but the nose was a hard act to follow, some lemon rind and the sweet oranges peel, more caramel then the nose
M not many visible bubbles but it creams up nicely in the mouth, bitter but not a palate wrecker, rind and canned peaches linger
O possibly the best brew I've had so far in NZ, hopped right up and you know its going to be fresh at the release party
Brewed for a hot wing eating contest to calm the fire, I could've drank a keg and I don't think it would've helped me. I watched people try the tiniest piece of the pepper they used in the hot sauce then they turned red and started to cry.
