Enjoyed at the Great Nebraska BeerFest 2011 - Papillion, Nebraska

The headline with this beer is that it is brewed with elements of the spruce tree giving it a unique taste beyond anything I've ever had within a beer. I can't even begin to explain the aroma on the nose and the flavor that this tree gives to beer but as far as I know this is a one of a kind attempt and I can't be happier they did so. Pouring a deep brown body with a light fluffy head it comes across as a heavy beer, although being quite rich (and utterly delicious) in taste, yet goes down much more easily than one might anticipate. If you are lucky enough to have this company distribute near you I'd recommend asking about this one.
Cheers!

Low aroma. Dark color. Light to slightly syrupy palate. Tart brown ale flavors.
