On tap at Prescott Brewing
Clear but very dark, with a durable tan head. The glass is left nicely coated after each tip.

Aroma: Chocolate! Lots of chocolate, with hints of dark fruits and dark baked bread.

Flavor: Semi-sweet chocolate with hints of hops and medium+ dark malts. Some smoke and dark malts come out in the finish and aftertaste, but chocolate still dominates. Fun and pleasant but a bit too sweet.

Feel: Medium body and medium carbonation; creamy smooth

O: great dessert beer and for chocolate lovers.

Pours dark black with big foamy head and great lacing. Smells fantastic, very full on chocolate with a roasted coffee mix, some coco and vanilla also. This is where I was bummed out, the taste is good with chocolate and vanilla and some mild coffee notes but man it is just too light. If this beer had a more robust taste and higher ABV it could be epic but after having other similar beers it just feels like a diet version. So is it worth a try sure, some who enjoy lighter stuff will like it, but for anyone with a desire for a punch and deep flavors it will fall short.

My wife's cousin brought this in from Prescott, AZ, where she lives to Texas. The growler certainly made the trip.

Smells like chocolate. Dark, roasty chocolate. The wife's cousin thought it was a Stout but the light color and clarity made me think it was a porter. Turns out I was right, as confirmed by BA.

Very sweet at the front with just enough bitterness at the back end. Slight creamy mouthfeel, but generally light and drinkable. It seems the chocolate is primarily in the nose. My taste buds mostly get roastiness and slight bitterness.

Good beer.

Easily one of the best beers I have ever had. It was so good that I started texting people telling them that they had to come get some.

Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Smells of chocolate and roasted malt. Tastes of very sweet chocolate and roasted malts. Medium-heavy body with medium carbonation. Overall it's a very tasty chocolate porter, my only complaint is it's a little sweet.

Dark brown, and ruby around the edges. A quickly dissipating khaki head, with very spotty lacing. The aroma is of chocolate. But, like, fake super sweet chocolate. A Tootsie Roll x2 for sweetness. The flavor is more balanced, not too sweet. Still, artificial tasting. Tootsie roll-ish, but not nearly as good as Boulder's Shake. Feel is dry, medium thin feel, average carbonation. Above average brew, barely.

Malty sweet chocolate porter, could use a bit more bite.
