Been in a couple of times, so that says something right there. The avacado fish tacos were fantastic, and so was the Maiboch! The service was not good, we were ignored most of the night and spent twice as much time there as we needed to. The staff was huddled together in front of the grill haveing a good time. They forgot about me asking for a souviner pint glass, on two different occations, and the place was not busy so they had no excuse for that.

This is a great place with great brew, the service was not very good.

Hit this place with my daughter and her friends. It is one of their happy hour favorites. This was my first trip to a GB location, though I have walked by them in many cities.

Good looking place with a huge outside patio, big bar filled with high tops and banquettes and a large dining room. Comfortable despite its size.

Beer was fine, though there was no seasonal selection on my visit. Schwarzbier and hefeweizen were both passable but no better. Food was hugely mediocre. Our assortment of variety platters and dips was at best forgettable and bland, at worst greasy and bland.

A fun hangout for 22 year old school teachers on a budget, and I had fun because I was in great company, but I'd keep on walking ( or in this case driving) by.

This Gordon Biersch is in the Westgate City Center, walking distance from Jobing.com Arena and hotel. Lots of table space, a large bar, and outdoor patio area.
Typical GB set up with 6 taps of standards and a seasonal. Tried the Schwarzbier (a personal favorite style) and the seasonal Festbier. Both were good and up to GB standards. Food is standard pub fare, good selection and portion size. Had a mixed platter, no complaints. Prices for food and beer seemed reasonable for the area. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the beer and different styles, speedy service. Fits the standard GB chain look and feel. Will go back again.

Gordon Biersch offers (almost) exclusively German style beers, including Maibock, Marzen, Hefe-Weizen, Dopplebock, Schwarzbier, Rauchbier, Alt Bier, Vienna Lager, Kolsch, and a Bohemian pils. Although some of these are seasonals, their main set of taps is certainly above average in quality and exceptional in freshness. Beers are served in handsome 1/2 litre glasses - good for value and feels much better in your hand.

Atmosphere is spacious with high ceilings, plenty of tables, and rarely has long waitlists unless there is a sporting event nearby. Frequent diner members move to the front of the waitlist, so G.B. has figured out how to treat their regulars well. This place is clean with a more upscale crowd than other beer places in the valley, and isn't too loud during peak times. Imagine that - you can have a pleasant conversation while enjoying your handcrafted beer & food!

Food is a mix of American favorites that are accented with influences from other regions, and garlic is used widely throughout the menu. If you like garlic, gorgonzola cheese, and other rich flavored ingredients then you will find something good on the menu.

Service is exceptional. It's very rare that my beer would be empty before the next one arrives, and the servers always make you feel like a welcome guest. They have service down right, and it sets a standard that simply embarrasses other beer destinations in the Phoenix area.

Great place to just "hang" and relax with a cold one. The food is good not great but I'm really there for the beer.

The Marzian is one of my favorites along with any of their seasonal brews.

Love the outside deck after a long motorcycle ride. The misters are great and you can watch e
everyone coming and going from Westgate Center.

The brewery I just found out supplies two other restaurants that do not have there own brewery It keeps the brewmaster very busy and you can usually see him working witch is something I enjoy.

The GB Pub/Brewery is in the Westgate City Center a relatively new area, grown up because of the new stadium. Easy to get to, ample parking, At anyone time they have 6 taps dispensing GB's beers, standard brews plus a seasonal or two, food menu standard pub fare with adequate portions, prices for food and beer reasonable for this type of establishment. Staff was quite friendly and knowledgeable; service was good, nice patio area, plenty of room inside and out. Having been to a few GB establishments, I find this one the most enjoyable.

I have visited GB several times over the last 6 months.
The atmosphere is OK as it is your typical brewery restaurant in which the brewing equipment is viewable in an otherwise unremarkable setting. Overall quality is good as the whole experience is pretty satisfactory. Service has been good with all 3 visits as the waitstaff is very fun and knowledgable about the food and beer. Selection of beer is OK as they have 6 or so standard offerings with a seasonal or two available and the food menu is good. Food has been good with all three visits. I have sampled the crabcake, several appetizers and the barbecue pizza. Overall it is an enjoyable experience which is somewhat detracted by the higher prices they ask for beer and food even during happy hour.
