Interesting, but not likable. Not a hop-head, I can't wax enthusiastic about their use. But no worries, this seems to have lost U.S. distribution

Really nice, malt forward pils. Great taste of lightly toasted grains on the finish, coming through with real purity.

these guys are so impressive lately. this is a kellerpils type, unfiltered lager beer, the first lager i have had from them i think, and a hoppy one at that. a great blend of brewing traditions here, and something entirely original as they go. its amazing how sometimes beer like this can be so good or so bad, when it seemingly the same ingredients and the same processes. this one is fabulous, my only regret is that it doesnt come in a larger package for less money, but thats the italians for you right? very cloudy pale yellow almost grayish appearance, tall white head comprised of tiny micobubbles and some sediment swirling. soft though, and intentional not sloppy or lazy, meant to be, inviting, alive. the nose is major hoppy for a pils, smells almost more english on the hops, magnum or something, bitter and grassy, but more intense than the czech or german hops, maybe just dosed heavy, its tough to tell because the malt is so rugged and raw and bold for the style too. pils malt like i have never seen it. texturally interesting, almost heavy for how light the beer is overall, and standing up to the hops in a whole new way for my palate. surprised others havent liked this more. this is awesome beer, notes of hay and ageing lager yeast, with an almost wheat look and feel, bone dry and dancing with carbonation. this is why i keep spending money on their tiny bottles, when they hit they nail it. a 30 pack of cans would be a better format for this unique gem...

This is a quite nice, hoppy and unfiltered pilsner. Strong hoppy aroma with a little citrus as well. Yeast does a good job of clinging to the bottle so though while unfiltered it's not cloudy and full of yeast.
Nice full hop flavor with a good pilsner malt base that perhaps is just a little thin and not as rich as it should be.
Nice firm bitterness in the end that's a little above your average pils but not astringent. Very enjoyable.
Really not a Czech pils, too light in color, too light in body, and without a rich enough malt body. Solid German pils though, even if lacking that good German pils malt body.
I should add that the price, even in Italy, is laughable and even as good as this beer is I'll likely never buy another bottle. €4.90 for one 33cl bottle.
