330ml bottle. Pint glass. Enjoyed on dec´11. Pours orangish amber in color with clear appearance. Off-white crown , fairly good retention. Hoppy & yeasty to the nose. Gentle bitterness, dry palate. Hints of lemon zest with peach peel hues, some astringency. Full body, medium carbonation. Resiny finish. Oily hops in the aftertaste. Refreshing.

330ml bottle, another offering from a new shipment of craft beers from Italy, and again the producer name and address doesn't match up to BA, but the name, style, and ABV do, so, here we go...
This beer pours a hazy medium browned apricot hue, with two healthy fingers of puffy, foamy eggshell white head, which leaves some nice cobweb lace around the glass as it slowly sinks away. It smells of sharp biscuit malt, some softer breadiness, citrus peel, and herbal, grassy hops. The taste is nutty bread and more biscuit malt, some mild citrus, and bitter leafy, earthy hops. The carbonation is average, as in agreeable, the body medium weight, a tad thin, but generally quite smooth. It finishes just a smidge off-dry, the nutty biscuit nature really holding strong as the hops fade out.
Like their American IPA, this artisanal Italian brewer gets it pretty close to bang-on, style-wise. Crisp, biscuity, even a little chewy, with a decently session-worthy 4.2% booze quotient. From fair Britannia to Fiorenzuola, this bitter e buono.

Intense red, a bit hazy. Light beige foam, average.
Malty smell, with a quite evident hop, with citrussy and spicy notes. Light hint of caramel.
Session beer, but not a banal beer.
Malty taste, too, and again well balanced by the hop.
Light body, balanced aftertaste.
Drinkable and plesant beer.
