Brought this back from Belgium. Poured from a 33cl bottle into a stella chalice with almost no head. best before date of 2019?

A orangey, brownish, copper

S sweet notes, kind of acidic with slight hop aromas

T very hoppy but i found it more sweet with minimal bitterness and a tad of an alcohol burn

M very smooth, minimal alcohol and medium body which i was surprised for a barleywine, a tad syrupy

O this was a great drinking beer, probably one of the more lighter barlewyines i've had if there is such a thing but i was glad to have tried this one, one could say this is a delicate barleywine

Malty, honey intense smell.
In the taste malty notes, again honey, then some hint of wood and vanilla.
And some caramel, too.
Delicate taste, the alcohol (12%) is absolutely well hidden. Cherry in alcohol, fruity notes (orange). Again, jam, apricot.
Very very interesting.
Full body, great balance.
Very good beer.

Poured into pint.
Pours only off-white head :) Actually difficult to pour.
Extremely fizzy, slightly hazy dark amber beer, long retention.
Smell - biscuits, honey, cake, toasted, toffee, rye bread.
Taste - toasted malts, tad boozy.
Full body, syrupy, soft carbonation. Severe barleywine.
