650ml bottle poured into a SARA Cellar oversized wine glass.

A~ clear dark orange/copper with a fluffy head that disappears quickly and a little lacing.

S~ biscuity malt up front along with some burnt sugar. followed by candied oranges and slight grassy pine.

T~ not as malty here! thankfully more balanced than the nose would lead you to believe. more bitter hops mid pallet, nice and grassy. all followed by some white wine like tannins and a tiny bit of lemon of the finish.

M~ a little thick but very drinkable and nice carb of course!

O~ this was probably a little old at this point but still held up pretty well! definitely a little more bitter than most recent IPA's but i feel like thats what they were going for. worth a shot for sure but don't crazy looking for it unless you need HF/Grassroots ticks like me! haha

Another surprise DIPA from Amager.

Pours a hazy orange with a little white head that dissipates quickly. Smells of sweet citrus complemented by the hop bitterness. The hops have faded a little from their journey across the Atlantic, but still prominent nonetheless. A great Euro DIPA but not as excellent when compared with its American counterparts.

Pours a golden orange color, very clear. One finger head that disappears slowly leaving a lace on the glass. A very piney smell with undertones of citrus. Definitely an earthy pine flavor up from with a light bitterness. The mouthfeel is a little lower than I would expect. A very easy to drink Double IPA.

Aens Ol - Pours amber with a thin white white head. Smell - huge citrus overtones, melon, passion fruit. Taste - pine, sweet malts with a bitter finish. Superbly well balanced ale. Real quality here.

Hazy dark orange color with white head. Juicy fruits on the aroma, also a little dank. Taste starts sweet and fruity with tropical notes and sweet malt. Soft body and carbonation. Bitter on the aftertaste. Really good, juicy and fruity IPA.

500 mL bottle. Orange body. Smell has caramel malt. Tropical fruit. Light orange. Smells sweet like lactose? Tastes bright and tropical. Heavy orange. Immediately kicks in with a strong grapefruit and orange flavor. Sweet lactose flavor in the back end. Not sure where I'm getting the lactose. Creamy body. Medium heavy body. Nice.

On draft at Lord Hobo in Boston.
Poured clear and amber.
Aroma was stale hops and caramel malt.
Flavor was more of the same. Oxidation and sweet tea leaf hops.
Either the brewery or Lord Hobo dropped the ball here, this beer tasted very old and stale. At least I hope this isn't what it was supposed to taste like. Mediocre American Barleywine territory.

Poured from a 22oz bomber into a speiglau IPA glass with a thin head with small bubbles.

Look is a pale with orange gold highlights. Very hazy and cloudy.

Aroma is light a little lemon herbal maybe a slight orange pith.

Taste is much more robust. Lots of herbal hops lemongrass and resin a strong sweet malt running through it.

Excellent

Bottle: Poured a slightly hazy orangey color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some excellent lacing. Aroma of citrus and grapefruit notes is quite intense and enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by citrusy and grapefruit notes with almost no bitterness and nice floral notes. Malt backbone is discreet with some residual sugar notes also noticeable. Body is about average for style with great carbonation. Very enjoyable experience with loads of balance.

Pours golden, orange color with 2-3 fingers of cloudy white head with good retention and lacing. The nose features citrus, pine and floral notes with some toasted malts. On the palate, the same notes come through, nice citrus and floral highlights with a toasted malt backbone.

A: poured into a tulip to a hazy bright orange with a finger of soapy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing
S: smells of juicy citrusy hops with some tropical fruits and a little caramel sweetness
T: Taste is resinous grapefruit rind with some tropical fruit and more bright citrus flavors. Slight caramel sweetness as well to provide some balance. Swallow is resinous with more notes of grapefruit and tropical fruits.
M: Medium body with slightly prickly carbonation and an oily hop finish that coats the mouth well.
O: This is a fantastic DIPA that drinks well and isn't too abrasive. Really well done and definitely one to try.
