Appearance: Pours a light and lemony, bright urine color that is cloudy and yeasty.
Aroma: Lemon and grass aromas. Some fruit citrusy fruit. Not a specific fruit stands out. Very much smells like a German Pilsner or kolsch, but slightly more fruity.
Flavor: Citrus upfront- Lemon, pineapple, some tart green grape. A pale grainy and yeasty malt presence. Subtle honey. Finishes dry and slightly tart.
Feel: Lighter bodied and smooth. Tartness and yeast dries the palate. Some astringency left on the palate. Alcohol is well-hidden.

Overall: Much less pineapple than I expected, which I actually prefer. I wasn't wanting a pina colada. Still, lots of citrus fruits. Pleasant grassy hop aromas. Yeasty and tart to finish nice and dry. Flavors and tartness make it drink a like a Kolsch, but focuses on the citrus fruit and yeast rather than the grassy hops. Pineapple is not overbearing and honestly sort of hidden making it fit the American Wheat style quite well. Overall, a very easy-drinking beer that beat my expectations.

In the tap room this and the coconut porter were just about the perfect beer, unfortunately it is maybe a 3.5 out of the can here on the east coast. More reason to go back to Maui.

The beer is has a yellow haze to it with a thin head that dissipated rather quickly. The aroma if first go was that of pineapple juice followed by the faint smell of wheat. The beer has a good pineapple taste without it being overwhelming. It really just tastes like a wheat beer with some pineapple juice. It is well balanced and not overly sweet. The beer is medium bodied.

Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) can into a conical pint glass; canned on 08/24/17.
A: Pours a very slightly, hazy orange gold with very robust head formation, leading to a greater than one inch, fluffy white head, good retention, and solid lacing.
S: Slightly tart. Aroma of pineapple predominates with honeysuckle, caramel, and spice (?cinnamon).
T: Dry and slightly tart. Pineapple definitely out front and very consistent with real, unsweetened pineapple juice. A little caramel and pepper. Bitterness in exceptionally good balance with other flavor elements.
M: Light to medium bodied with very good persistence of effervescence. A bit creamy.
O: Do not really perceive much in the way of the wheat beer elements, could as easily have been a light ale or lager, but very light, drinkable, and enjoyable. Definitely for someone look beer with subtle fruitiness.

Pineapple Mana pours a darker copper color, with a little haze, and a big long lasting and lacing head. Smells of pineapple juice. Flavor is creamy, lots of pineapple juice flavors. Good body and feel. Overall, big on the pineapple flavors, and very pretty beer.

The taste smell and feel of this brew are very different and are slightl at odds with each other. The feel is frothy and thick, but the taste is light and crisp. Both are good alone but the combination is unexpected. The taste is also good but not akin to the smell. Probs wouldn’t buy again but still some yummy stuff brah

Pours hazy orange-gold with a fluffy white head.

Smell- pineapple dominates with some wheat and spices

Taste follows the nose. Big hit of pineapple with hints of spices and wheat. Like Blue Moon and Pineapple. I actually quite enjoyed it, but it is very sweet.

Mouthfeel- medium body and dry

Overall- Would be a lot more refreshing in the summer, but I was curious when I saw it. Might be a good beer for someone who says they don;t like beer.

Pours a yellow beer with some haze to it, I guess that is from the pineapple juice because there isn't anything yeast or hop wise that would lead me to conclude that is the particulate in which my eyes gaze upon. Aroma is of pineapple and grain.

Taste, more pineapple, slightly sweet. Covers up nearly all other flavors. Do you like beer, because this kind of tastes like it. . . light body, sweet pineapple, wheat must give it that lightness. High carbonation provides even more levity to the beer but also prevents more smoothness to it.

The only reason to get this beer is if you or someone you like is down with drinking some pineapple. Other than that, nothing to it.

Tastes like the pineapple character comes from the flesh rather from the juice. I think one would really need to enjoy pineapple to enjoy this beer more than just a one and done brew.

Pours a cloudy honey amber orange with a pillow like white head that takes it's time dissipating and leaves some lacing. The aroma is pineapples, lemon, and crackers with a slight touch of vinegar. The flavor follows the nose with a pineapple sweet and sour taste. Well carbonated, would make an okay lawnmower beer. Overall okay, but I wouldn't go looking for it.

A solid Maui offering...

The brew pours out a nice yellow-orange liquid with a thin white head, though there is no staying power or lacing. The smell is absolutely amazing, a sweet, strong scent of pineapple, very mouthwatering. Mouthfeel was overly carbonated, but the taste was a decent blend of wheat brew and pineapple, solid enough. Overall, I thought it very good for the style and for it's overall uniqueness.

A: The beer is rather hazy yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a two finger high fluffy white head that died down, leaving a thin head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of wheat and pineapples are present in the nose.
T: The taste is mostly dominated by flavors of wheat and has some hints of pineapples towards the finish. The pineapples become a tad stronger as the beer warms up.
M: It feels just shy of being light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink but I wished that the pineapple aromas and flavors could have been stronger.

This beer pours a deep gold with an average head. The aroma features dense bready and wheat notes, with pineapple and brown sugar, honey, and clove. The flavor is pretty bright, with graham cracker malts, mild pineapple and lemon flesh flavors, and a sweet-tart finish. The mouthfeel is light but with aggressive foaming carbonation. Overall this is a bit bombastic for a wheat, the texture is more assertive and less creamy than ideal, and the pineapple comes across as a bit tart.

Is this a good one orange is yellow with the about a half finger head and very light lacing on the glass has enough of a pineapple hint to let you know what it is but not overbearing, smell is not as intense as you might like but it just enough to entice you for the drink and then once you get the first swallow you're hooked a real good one.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 7/3/2017. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy medium golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to small cap that lingers. Light spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of pineapple, peach, pear, red apple, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, pineapples, bready malt, and moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of pineapple, peach, pear, red apple, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness; and slight tart/tangy wheat/fruit on the finish. Lingering notes of pineapple, peach, pear, red apple, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, pineapples, bready malt, and moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a nice fruited pale wheat ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, pineapples, bready malt, and moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the mellowly bitter/spicy finish. Very well balanced between all flavors. Pineapple wasn't huge, but adequate. Nice hop presence for the style. Nice levels of American wheat yeast character, and balanced malts with no residual sweetness. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Can to becher pint glass, the appearance was a modest pale orange to copper color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that fell off at a decent pace. Not much lace, what there was, swiftly slid off into the beer.
The aroma had the pineapple up front, sweetly with some sweet wheat, light grassy hops and then a little bit of sugar cane at the very end.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side with the pineapple and sugar cane up front. Wheat plays a lighter part. Light lemon came in for a subtle balance. Aftertaste was pineapple, sugar cane, and a little bit of wheat.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Though it's fairly sweet, some stickiness does develop to almost become cloying, but the hops and wheat do settle in to grab a little of this.
Overall, pretty nice APWA with the pineapple. Vermont is starting to warm up a bit so this was fine on a late Spring Friday night.

This beer pours a light golden with a creamy white head. There is a small head that dissipates to a honeycomb laceing.

The aroma is of pineapple and floral sweet notes.

The flavor is of mild pineapple, orchid, bee pollen and a raw nut like almond. There is a mix of mild sweet wheat notes and dry chalky finish.

Another one of those difficult to rate beers. It gets its mission accomplished, so A+ for that. A very easy to drink, refreshing and light feeling wheat ale that basically smells and tastes like pineapple juice light. Cheers!

Pineapple, mango and wheat on the nose.
Pineapple and malt, slight sourness.

12 oz. can:

Pours golden with a creamy white head. Lacing sticks.

The smell is of chunks of pineapple with a wheat tang.

The taste is of wheat tang with a shot of pineapple juice. Semi-sweet finish.

It has a refreshingly smooth body. with the carbonation a bit on the aggressive side initially.

An American Pale Wheat with a strong pineapple character is what it is.
