A little darker than I'd expect for a Kölsch. The head is white and lingers. A nice floral smell. Some hop bitterness. A good taste, and easy to drink.

Poured from the can into a nonic pint glass.
Amber Brown to dull brass yellow body color, and quite clear. Good sized fluffy head, a bit off white and reaching three fingers with good soapy lacing.
Bit of an odd aroma for a kolsch. Considerably biscuity, but with a bit off putting bile like bitterness. Touches a little caramel also.
Palate sort of continues theme. Dry sort of Graham cracker and biscuit malts, with a good mouthfeel. Lingering but odd herbal bitterness that flirts with chemical astringency. More of a caramel touch of slight sweetness.
Drinkable, but with some minor flaws, but not really kolsch like unfortunately.

Tried this while vacationing on (in?) the Outer Banks. Out of a can, pours a dark gold color with healthy lace that does't dissipate too quickly. Slight carbonation and limited bitterness thanks to a honey, smooth taste. Reminded me of a 'honey brown' like Sleeman or Newcastle. Enjoyed it on the beach!

A good, easy drinking beer to enjoy while at the Outer Banks of NC. Stop by the brewery on your way down to Kitty Hawk or KDH and grab a couple of 4 packs. Crack a few of these brews while on the beach. Enjoy!

Enjoyed form the tall boy can in a snifter. This nice little kolsch pours a lightly chill hazed golden color with a moderate head of white foam that settles to a thick ring, thin wispy layer, and subtle lacing. Nose of toasted grains, honey, subtle grains, and light buttered bread. Flavors exceed the nose with honey touched grain notes on the front and sides, buttery caramel hits mid-taste with subtle herbal hops on the rear. Nice mild carbonation to keep it light, medium mouth feel, subtly dry sweet grainy finish. A decent brew for the style.
Nice
Thanks to my old roomie John for getting me this fine brew as well as the coveted Black Radish.
Cheers
