Thanks to Ron for sharing this one at Wowcoolman's tasting.

Pours a hazy golden-orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of citrus fruit, citrus zest, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus fruit, citrus juice, citrus zest, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with solid citrus forward hop qualities all around.

Serving type: can.

Pours a yellow golden color with a plentiful white foam in the big Stella glass. Holy flocculating barmaids! This stuff is full of floaters. Trying not to look, the aroma is richly hoppy with a hint of banana and honeysuckle.

Sweet and fruity with a flowery, piney taste. Dark bitter flavor creeps up. Tangy with a lemony taste. Quite bitter aftertaste. A cereal note. Nice aromatics from sniff to finish.

Not one of the better efforts from the usually reliable Fort George. From the 12 oz can purchased at Special Brews in Lynwood, Washington.

Can from Jerry's market. Right in the ballpark for a NW IPA. Almost sessionable. Good gateway ale. Nothing stands out, nothing detracts. But extremely tasty, and since become one of my favorite IPAs.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with a ton of white floating particles; one finger white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of bready, lightly biscuity malt, citrus hops. Flavor follows, with bready, biscuity malt and citrus and lightly pine resin hops. Biscuit with grassy and citrus hop bitterness in the finish. Medium bodied with slight creaminess. A good IPA on the malty side of the spectrum. Hops are good but not exciting, but I liked the malt flavors in this one. Not a stand out IPA, but a pleasant and well made one. Not pretty to look at with all the particulates, but these don't seem to affect the flavor in any way.

Picked either a 4 or 6 pack of this while camping up in Oregon the first week of August 2017. That one place about 1/2 hour from Hillsboro. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with 1/3" white head. Has a good hop nose, the ample dry hopping is evident, has a little more something, I dunno complex, exotic, or just simply different, you choose the adjective. There's another plant or flower in here maybe.

Taste, pretty dry malt body, seems to be in the West coast style but with an updated hop regimen because I'm getting some Citra in here. Simcoe is apparent as well, hefty catty bitterness meets dry honey pale malt. Back end pine like forest notes in the mouth feel. Seems to pack some alpha acid strong hops in this one, bitterness is prolly in the 60ibu range.

Poured from 12oz can into my Oregon Brewers Fest taster.

Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze, moderate effervescence and some tiny floaties. Head poured a thin layer of frothy white foam with moderate retention. Not too bad.

Smell: citrusy aroma with a nice lemon character. Not complex, but piquant and refreshing.

Taste: quite malty with a sweetish malt flavor and a much more subdued hop character. Hops remain rather lemony, and bitterness is moderate. To me, it's more of a pale ale than an IPA, but I still rather like it. The more I drink, a bit of a soapy character develops which brings it down a little.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good level of carbonation and a good creaminess for an IPA.

Overall: a decent-enough IPA. The weird lemon/soapy mix is a bit on the odd side, but it's still a drinkable brew.

12oz can picked up at Brewforia Meridian late last week.. Also saw it at Brewer's Haven... Paid a pricey $2... will be cheaper when it gets out and about around town.

Pours a very hazy orange... thin white head... lacing is there, but is nothing special.

Grassy/lite floral hops punctuate the nose but are lost in the residual pale malts.

Flavor begins with a nice bitterness but quickly moves to a pretty nondescript herbal/floral hoppiness.

Body and carbonation are fine.

Okay... just not what I want when I think of a PNW IPA... Still tasty, just not my style.

Can from ABV.

A clear light copper with a dense, white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose opens up with a combination of hops and simple syrup; a blend of pineapple, navel oranges and a little grapefruit. There is a sweetness present in the backbone, one that seems to be part of the FG house character. The palate opens with a pleasant bitterness, mildly pith-like with some pine, along with a moderate amount of flavor. Pineapple, citrus and some pine are all present. The mid-palate has some sweetness (similar to honey) along with a bit of medicinal bitterness. Light in body, moderately carbonated, this beer has a lingering grapefruit finish. Apart from the aspirin-like bitterness, this beer is very enjoyable. Recommended.

12 FL. OZ. can
Served in an IPA glass

This beer pours a hazy amber color with golden highlights. It is topped with three inches of sticky, beige head that leaves a fair amount of lacing.

It has a big grapefruit nose.

The grapefruit translates to the flavor with a pine finish.

Medium mouthfeel

This is a solid IPA. There is nothing to really make it stand out. It's a good go to beer.
