Canned 22nd May 2014. This batch is listed at 7.2%. Reviewed 06-13-2014 06:24:38, moved here to correct listing

A mostly clear light amber with a dense, white head with excellent retention and nice lacing, this beer looks great! As I pour the last bit from the can, some floaties do appear. The nose is excellent. I can only hope that this is a significantly retooled version of the beer that's been reviewed so far, 'cos the alternative, more depressing story would be that the lack of drinking on my part has completely broken my palate and rendered me incapable of identifying a good IPA. Bright and citrusy with clean, refreshing aroma hops, bright tangerines, bright navel oranges, bright pine and a touch of pithy, chalky grapefruit peel, this is outstanding. A light honeyed/cotton candy/doughy malt aroma is present. Super, super fruity.

The palate opens bright and refreshing with juicy fruit - honey, oranges, tangerines, citrons, a touch of tropical fruit - mango - with a clean bitterness, this is just outstanding. A piney, resiny hop bitterness is present, exceptionally clean with minimal grassy or otherwise off flavors. This beer is super juicy - it has tons of fruit juice - making it astoundingly refreshing Light in body with a crisp, clean carbonation, this beer finishes long and juicy with a touch of grassy hops on the finish. Highly recommended.

16 oz. can poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Hazy orange body. Small white head. Thin collar.

Smell - Very tropical. Pineapple. Mango. Orange citrus. Lightly toasted malt and some doughy sweetness.

Taste - More grapefruit in the taste. Still some tropical flavors. Toasty malt gives it a grainy feel. Sweet in the back end with just a touch of bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Medium body. Well carbonated.

Overall - Impressive stuff.
