Notes / Commercial Description:
"Our IPA is made with generous additions of Cascade, Simcoe and Palisade hops throughout the brewing, fermentation and conditioning phases, balanced with heaps of organic pale malt. We designed this to not rip your taste buds off your tongue, but rather vigourously stimulate them and your palate into a lupulin-ecstacy of pleasure. During the cross-country truck trip our brewery made to find it's home in Astoria, it was nearly scattered to the cornfields of Nebraska by a tornado. We try to capture some of nature's intensity in every pint."

AUG 14, 2014
Canned 17 July 2014. Pouring a clear amber with a dense, off white head with excellent retention and minimal lacing, this looks solid. The nose is great. Bright, pungent and dank hops with grapefruit, grapefruit pith, pine, weed, a little chalk and a little grass. A little caramel is present. The palate opens with a moderate bitterness, plenty dank with a pronounced weed character. A little grassy, which distracts from the wonderful bitterness and moderate hop flavor that’s comprised of grapefruit, pine and a little melon. The mid palate is smooth and creamy with a little sweetness before a long, clean ,bitter finish with flavors of grapefruit and west take over. A little candied melon is present as well. Medium light in body with moderate carbonation, this tastes solid. Definitely worthy, a great NW IPA.

Poured out of a 16oz can into a Duvel Tulip.
Alot of sediment, pours a murky orange almost honey hue. Nice white head with about 2 fingers height. Aroma is upfront tropical fruits, bright pineapple and banana with a sweet backing. Taste is upfront carmel malty sweetness that has a middle body of mango or a funky tropical fruit. Finishes into a nice palatable bitterness with a slight alcohol astringentce at the end. Mouthfeel is almost syrupy with a medium carbonation, very smooth.
Overall a well balanced IPA with a very nice hop fruit finish. I enjoy the heavy amounts of sediment goodness and will look for this again!

Limited review. No bells and whistles. Just a damn solid IPA. I did have a heavy amount of sediment in my beer. Gave it 8 or so minutes to relax and all was well. Thanks to Caz Clark for this one. If you are in the PNW, this is worth finding. Reminded me a bit of Hop Drop here back home in NC.
