This Fall 2021 seasonal is a collaboration with Roy Farms. Clear golden yellow brew with abundant foam in the IPA glass. Aroma of yellow squash, carrots, and raw grain. Tastes of cranberry, oatmeal cookies, green tea, and blackberry seeds and fruit. Bitter and jammy or winey.

Overall this is quite bitter and thought-provoking. But drinkability? I don't know. This frolic with fresh hops leads to some funny flavors. From the 16 oz can purchased at New Seasons in Stumptown. Dated 10/11/2021 and the slogan is "not a dogfish" though there is both a dog and fish on the whimsical label.

Gifted from a buddy in the PNW. Enjoyed straight from the can - I love fresh hop season.

Earthy, spicy hops. Resin, pine, light citrus. Sticky but smooth. Appropriately bitter with a little chewiness. Shining example of the style.

Fresh 16oz can poured into a nonic; pours a beautiful gold color with a body that shows tiny hop particulates in a mild haze; fluffy off-white head and decent lacing; fairly old-school in the hop profile; citrus; piney herbaceous and earthy; lemon; grassy; apricot; dry and fairly bitter in a West-Coast IPA kinda way. Delicous.

Look: Almost clear burnt orange with a dense white head that pillows up nicely and slowly recedes leaving good lacing behind
Aroma: Mandarin orange, pine, grapefruit, floral notes, some bready malt sweetness, fir tips, and a little dank
Taste: Sweet orange/fir tips, grapefruit, and flowers come on quickly, soon joined by some pine and a nice, honey-like sweet malt backbone. More pine, citrus, and floral notes in the middle before a nice bite closes things out
Mouthfeel: Full and slick, but not overdone or oily. Medium-high carbonation and a fairly dry finish
Overall: This is tasty stuff. Really fresh hop notes are the highlight of this decidedly WCIPA but has great balance from the maltiness that is wholly present, albeit in the background. An awesome and delicious beer from a great brewery and a welcome addition to their seasonal lineup

Draft at Taphouse. Hazy golden pour capped with a white creamy head. Bready aroma, biscuits, sourdough. Taste takes this thick malty brew and adds some floral hoppy notes, along with a minor flirtation with dankness. Creamy, full, lingering bitterness.

16oz can (dated 8/27/20) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a fully turbid orange color with 1-1/2 inches of white head that had very good retention and good lacing.

The aroma was all Froot Loops hops, with no grain/malt.

Very similar on the tongue, but there was some saving bitterness on the finish.

The body was medium, smooth, and had a medium finish.

Drinkability was OK, but not thrilling.

Overall, a somewhat below average brew. YMMV.

this is as good of an ipa as i have had in months, if not longer, truly an impressive specimen here, especially given that its centennial and amarillo hops, two varietals i thought firstly that i knew everything about in terms of flavor and aroma potential, and secondly that there was little else new to be done with them, but i learned something here in both respects. this has awesome can art, more of an unfiltered semitransparency than an intentional density and haziness. high ehaded from the can and literally filling my living room, dining room, and kitchen with its incredible aroma as soon as i start to pour. fruity for centennial, clean and herbal and fresh for amarillo, which sometimes have a tired wilting herbal vibe to them in my experience, they both just seem so different here, sweet passion fruit, heady sativa, wet spruce, ripe mango, tangerine, floral honey, the whole thing pops in aroma and flavor, shockingly unique for these hops even, and so refined overall as a beer, the quality factor overall is just off the charts. major freshness helps, just a couple of weeks old, i like the clean and tidy fermentation, finishing dryness, and simple, basic, no frills malt base, its all just right. good carbonation, palate coating hop oils on the swallow, and a layered and cohesive hop complexion thats memorable to me right away. every sip new to me again, and by the end of the drink im left wishing for more. this is monumentally delicious, highly recommended!

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a IPA glass.

Look- Pale gold, hazy, frothy white head, above average head retention and lacing.

Smell- Resin, spicy, herbal, dank.

Taste- Resin, herbaceous, dank, very slight stone fruit notes.

Feel- Between thin and medium body, prickly, high bitterness, average carbonation, clean finish.

Overall- I am not the biggest fan of West Coast IPA’s, but this one is exceptional!

Mostly clear but not completely, it's a light golden yellow with a nice egg white head that settles down to still a half a finger and linger, and gorgeous sticky lacing.

Nose is a little underwhelming. Some earthiness, some tropical fruits and melons, but all somewhat reserved.

Pleasant notes of green papaya and something floral and some honeydew and kiwi and not long before it's just sharp punishingly bitter right down the middle of the palate.

Nice soft body with a small amount of carb but helps bring balance. And the story is the lingering sharp pithy bitterness that just sticks around too.
I like a good bitter classic IPA, but this one gets a little distracting with the specific form the bitterness takes.

Really interesting can art. Hazy light golden pour, thick-ish head with good sticky lacing. Got some floaters drifting around. You pick up light fruitiness, not much else. Ft. George is a pretty solid IPA house, so this is right down their alley. Most are good and well crafted. We pick up a bunch of hops on the taste and not much else, very subdued malt base. A good but not superior offering. Cool can, but that doesn't gain them much.

From a 16oz. can purchased at the beer store.

Holy cow. This is a really great beer. Different, but familiar. It's super complex hop-wise, but balanced very well by a slightly sweet malt backbone. Label says it's a "collaboration with Crosby Hops". Whoever they are, keep doing this. Also the artwork from Plasm is awesome. 4 thumbs up.

16oz can served in a wine glass. Dated 08/27/20. Bought it yesterday at Whidbey Beer Works.

Pours mostly clear golden with some small sediment floaters. Smell is melon, fruit, must.

Taste is resin and deep bitterness, moderate barley syrup, more of the melon but actually more like the rind, maybe some citrus pith.

Mouthfeel is light and quite dry. Overall, pretty good.
