Appears a copper toned amber with a 2 finger white head that slowly fades into a mild cap and hearty collar. Scattered lacing is left around the glass. Lots of thick streams of CO2 rise to the top.
Smell is of caramel, toffee, nutty, malty, along with light herbal, grassy, earthy hops.
Taste is a mix of herbal hops and a more heavily ended sugary malt with some grassy bitterness found in the finish.
Mouthfeel is creamy up front leading to a somewhat spritzy feel along the palate.
Not bad. I look forward to my return visit next(possibly next Summer), where I hope to see a few different varietal IPAs being featured instead of just the house IPA. Heck...shoot for a double IPA, now that the cap is popped.

An inch of foamy, ecru head with slight retention. Color was a deep amber with NE-quality clarity despite Josh's not filtering his beers. Nose had a mild bitterness. Josh was open about it being an English-style IPA, but it was much hoppier than at Liberty. Mouthfeel was medium and between the taste on the tongue and at the finish, it was satiating. Highly recommended, given the area and all things being relative.

Appearance: orange in color with a 1" head that slowly fades away. Some moderate lacing paints the glass.

Smell: caramel sweetness along with some mild floral hop bitterness is pleasant on the nose.

Taste: caramel, hint of pine, mild bitterness, some soft citrus, and soft grassy tones. Well balanced.

Mouthfeel: medium bodied. Lightly crisp throughout. Aftertaste is short as the flavors leave the mouth quickly.

Drinkability: this one is a serious sessionable IPA since it is more of an "old school" IPA that is not a hop bomb. One of the best local beers I had in SC.

A: Had this beer on-tap, poured into a pint glass. Had a copper color and a slightly hazy consistency. There was a small amount of foamy head that lasted an average amount of time. OK lacing.

S: A good, but not overwhelming aroma of hops, pine, citrus, and malt.

T: Tasted of some light citrus notes (lemon), pine, malt, and a floral quality. A bit on the thin and watery side in the finish, but otherwise a decent flavor.

M: A well-carbonated beer with a slick finish. Medium-bodied.

O: This is a drinkable enough beer, but one that won't rock your world.

Pours a hazy copper color with a one to one and half finger white head. The head gives way to moderate lace up and down the glass. The nose has a pine and floral hop aroma but it is a little faint. The taste has a caramel malt backbone with a pine and earthy hop bite at the end there is a hint of sweet malt. The beer is much more balanced than most ipas, not a hop head beer. The mouthfeel is modearately carbonated. Overall it is a solid ipa not a hop head ipa but more balanced and overall well rounded.

Enjoyed on the brewpub premises in the Myrtle Beach area, this IPA has a dark copper color with a goodly light oatmeal colored head and plenty of lacing. The aroma is a mild citrus hops and tangy wheat. The flavor brings a very nice blend of citrus hops and sweet malt bread. It has a salty tang with some herbal qualities. It's medium bodied but has a very finely carbonated tingly feel. There's biscuit wheat sugar but the hops dominate more to the bitter side. Very drinkable but plenty of flavor. A very decent ipa offering and a relief to locate in this otherwise God forsaken beer region. Good enough that I actually had two of them rather than sample some other variety, a rare feat, and followed that with a growler of it for the condo.

Had a pint on tap at the brewery. The appearance is a nice clear orangish hue. Head small and disappears quickly. Smell was weak for an IPA. Could not get much hop aroma. Taste was just above average and again not much hop for an IPA. Mouthfeel was good not thin but not thick either. Overall drinkable but not a lot of outstanding qualities.

I had this today with my pub burger. Pretty earthy as an IPA goes. Pretty color, head doesn't last too long. This is the only brew I tried but was fairly impressed. They were $4 for a pint served in an imperial pint glass. I would reccommend this for an PA fan but for the novice beer drinker, I would probably steer clear

M: Thin but not watery and well carbonated.

D: Very good, a good session beer.
