Growler from CJ's Doghouse in Towamencin, PA. Not the best witbier so far, but has a nice long aromatic spicy finish. Pity there is too much grapefruit hops in the middle. Still one of the best domestic craft examples of the style I've tried. For me, Blue Moon is better, more malty sweetness and better balance.

On-tap at the brewpub, served with an orange wedge.
This, in my opinion, is ABW's most consistent beer, and possibly their best. It's a balanced and flavorful wit that's fairly true to style, but not just a Hoegaarden copycat. This one's a little bit thicker with a creamy, bready wheat flavor balanced by mellow, yet rich Belgian candi spice. This is the beer to try at either Brew Works locations. I wish I could say as much for their other Belgian options, or even any of their beers, but this one has always been a winner.

12/28...on tap in Allentown PA...pours hazy murky yellow brown. Heavy foam layer. Light wheat nose. Orange and rind flavor. A slight sour gives character. Nicely done wit.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. has a golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of tangerines, somewhat sweet. Taste is of oranges and tangerines, some sweetness, a bit of wheat, very easy drinking. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a very good session beer.

I've had maybe 12 wits so far. This is by far the worst I've tasted. Way too spicy and horrible sour aftertaste.
