On tap at the Allentown location. Pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma of maple syrup, roasted malt, and brown sugar. Flavor of sweet malt, some roasted notes with a sweet finish. The aroma intrigued me, but in the end it was just ok and a little on the sweet side.

Appearance is a reddish-copper with a finger of head that dissipates rather quickly. The nose is a touch astringent. The malt flavor comes through up front and the sweetness of the malt is definitely present on the finish, as well. This is certainly a full-bodied offering that is fair, but nothing special.

Had a pint with my andouille sausage pizza and was quite happy with the pairing. I remember trying this before and thinking it was a lame Yuengling knock-off, but now the beer has really come into it's own. The aroma was a little off with a sourdough smell, but the flavor was much better with a hint of cocoa over juicy caramel malts that hinted at berry punch. Easy to drink and it went well with my food, can't ask for a lot more I suppose. They make better beers, but this ain't bad.
