Freshness: Not indicated
Packaging: 12 oz. bottle, pry-cap
Glassware: Shaker pint
Purchased: Single from Let's Pour mailorder

A: Semi-clear, golden beer capped with 2 fingers of offwhite head, with very good retention and a nice amount of lacing.

S: Aromas are all hop-forward, with citrus, grapefruit and floral notes.

T: Sharp bite from the citrus hops is in the forefront. I also get a little bit of honey-like sweetness. Quite a bitter brew here

M: Body is medium, with what I'd call an average amount of carbonation. The aftertaste has a prominent astringency that is unpleasant. This improves a bit as the beer warms to room temperatures.

O: A good beer but the astringency was a negative.

Unknown bottled date but I know it's a few months old.
last of my 4-pack

Vigorous pour, little head. Slight haze, light gold.

Fruity and earthy. Having this outside just after cutting the grass so leaning more earthy, grassy. Remembered the other three more on the citrus spectrum.

Tangy and a touch bitter on first sip. Some alcohol burn but barely. Hides the abv well. a bit of lemon and orange and fresh cut grass again. Pineapple. Not much malt, a touch of biscuit, but not overly hoppy either

Medium body and medium to high carbonation. Pretty clean and crisp for such high abv. Surprised.

This is a pretty good surprise beer. Was expecting this to be overly boozy but it's a really flavorful and refreshing DIPA. Under-rated in my opinion. Seek this one out.

Part of a flight at Good Ta Go Chambersburg, PA yesterday. Had several times before, so here's a review.

Slightly hazy amber body. small off white persistent head leaving some lacing.

Faint hit of hops, nothing else.

Now this is billed as an 11.5 "Triple" IPA. The alcohol is extremely well hidden, to the point you dont even notice it. However, the hop level is quite low. Decent enough malt background, with a very nice pepperiness to it.

Just about medium on the mouth. Disappears on the finish rather quickly.

On the whole, I have to say it's an okay tasting beer. I rarely had such a high abv beer that you felt like slamming, even in the 5oz glass. This can be dangerous. I just dont think of it as a TIPA.
